Move this game to Texas Stadium, and besides those bashing Romo, everyone would be talking about our running game, how we should have/could have beat the Giants even with Romo sucking so badly.

There was so much put into not letting the Giants beat them in the first game at the new digs. So much hype from Jerry, the fans, and the media...

But in the end, who gives a ----. It's one loss by 1 freaking point - to the Giants - in a 16 game season, who last time I looked were a pretty good football team themselves.

I'm sure the players see it this way. Sure wish the fans could grasp the same idea. Week 3 is almost here - we're 1-1 - not the end of the world guys!!

If my grandma had a shlang, she'd be my grandpa.

The fact of the matter is, this wasn;t a game in Texas Stadium. This was the INAGURAL game in Cowboys Stadium, and we lost it. There are some things that just don't "go away" from your brain, and the image of Tynes running off the field is now one of them. In the season, it may be "one loss in a 16 game season", but as far as history goes, it's one of the most important games the Cowboys have played in a decade (close to the closing of Texas Stadium which we.. uh.. lost too) The fact is, Tony Romo let over 100,000 down last night.

It didn't happen at Texas Stadium, so your argument is moot.

Well, your response just backed up my point - Thanks! :)

In truth - it's the Dallas Cowboys - not the Dallas Cowboys Stadium football team. Yeah, it sucks they lost their first game there - but it's just one game in hundreds, maybe thousands that will be played there.

You have to look at the big picture, and not just the INAGURAL game.

You are not looking at how badly this reflects on the team and how much of an omen this is that nothing has changed. Until proven otherwise Dallas folding like a cheap tent is as certain as death and taxes. Dallas has the talent, I don't question that, but I'm not counting on them doing anything with it.
