Kyle Hamilton . Plug him in at safety next five years have him and Parsons grow together to anchor this defense . This position has been a tough fill for Dallas . No mock draft I’ve seen says he lasts until the Cowboys pick . Washington seems like a fit .

We rarely pick safetys early.
Roy Williams back on the 2000's is the last one I remember.

He’s getting comparisons to Eric Berry the Chief safety at one time who had a nice career , pro bowls . If a talent like Hamilton is still around when 18 or 19 comes around DQ might talk Jerry into a trade up . Collect as many talented players as possible . Kearse Wilson Hamilton it would be a nice problem to have .

I honestly believe he's one of the players Jerry had in mind about moving up. From what I've heard, as one GM tweeted, his character and football IQ is off the chart which allows him to play faster than the conventional 40 time. Probably remind Cowboy fans of Sean Lee...

I'm pulling for Pitre, personally, falling in the 2nd round.

Fat chance, I know.

If not, I'd shoot for Smoke Monday in the 5th round and roll with who I've already got.

I would also take him. Sometimes you just have to eschew need and go with the top player. Not too concerned about his speed

It’s a fair question like the parsons.I would not but if Hamilton was the pick it wouldn’t be wrong

If he is the highest rated player on our board; then, turn in the card. BPA seems to work every time. I was paying attention to Mickys podcast and they were discussing our roster this year and next year and how you have to look at the team going forward. They also brought up the moving up in the draft and what you lose in picks and possible players. They mentioned the 2012 draft, where we moved up and selected Morris Claiborne and if we stayed we could have draft DT Brookers and LB Bobby Wagner. This team has to many holes to fill to miss out on future starters. Just draft the BPA!

To be all he can be, Hamilton needs to go to the right team. This ain't it.

DQ had this defense looking a lot better then past several years . I trust him in knowing what to do with a talent like Hamilton .

The problem is in order to get him probably involves a trade and with a roster of more holes then one draft can fix it’s hard to start sacrificing draft picks . The consensus does seem though that if he fell to 24 you race to the podium .
