If this were any other year, Tony Romo would be a lock for NFL MVP..
If this were any other year, we would be the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl..
If this were any other year, the Dallas Cowboys would be the cover boys and the headline grabbers for every sports website, tv show, newspaper and magazine across the country..
If this were any other year, we would be the ones chasing perfection with three games left on the schedule..
But it had to be this year.. When the Patriots are doing all of the above.. And it wouldn't bother me nearly as much if it wasn't happening for the cockiest, unclassiest team in the NFL.. I really wouldn't mind it if it were a team like the Colts, a classy team from top to bottom.. But this is a team that are proven cheaters, a team with a QB that is getting women pregnant and dumping them left and right, a team who has a QB who's arrogance is matched in the NFL only by his own head coach, a team that takes cheap shots and a team that piles on the points and goes for it on 4th down over and over again when they are already winning by 4 touchdowns late in the 4th quarter.. But you know what? All of the reasons above are going to make it all the sweeter when our Cowboys give this "unbeatable" beast it's only loss of the season-- in the Super Bowl.
