And a medium-priced vet QB is brought in.

It seems only logical that if they're going to go out on a limb w/ a signing like that, there's no way they don't get a back-up for Bledsoe that has at least some kind of playing time under his belt.

once NO signs brees, they will trade a second or third to us for romo on draft day (or earlier). what we do will tell us how much faith we have in romo.

No way Romo gets the bullet, Henson is under the gun in NFLE. He might not suit up again for the Cowboys.

If that had any chance of happening,it
would probably be Henson.I only say that, because
he hasn't been able to beat out Romo, that can't bode well
for him.

this connection makes absolutely no sense to me

We wouldn't trade Romo for a 3rd rounder and all of a sudden we'd release him?

How was Romo worthy of a third round pick while Patrick Ramsey may only draw a sixth?

I disagree, Romo will stay unless some team offer us some crazy offer.....supposedly we turned down a 3rd rd from the Jets already.

i like the idea of signing a vet backup incase Bledsoe does go down, i would hate the fact we could be primed for a legit SB run, and to have to rely on Romo or Henson, so with that being said, i wouldnt care if dropped or released Romo or Henson, incidentally i still wished we wouldve signed McCown. maybe an Aaron Brooks if he is released.

I think they stay pat with the QBs they have, don't see how TO changes things. They claim to like their backups.

I'll say one thing for Henson, this guy has raked in millions,
doing nothing in two different sports.

In my opinion, the question of Henson or Romo has nothing to do with Romo getting cut or not. I don't know that he would but one has nothing to do with the other.

Henson is in Europe so who knows with him. Currently, he is not in the plan IMO. What happens to Henson is another issue all together. Henson will be kept on the roster until such time as we are forced to make a decision on him. Because he is playing in Europe, the team will not be forced to make a roster decision on him as quickly. Romo, on the other hand, will count a roster spot on cut down day. His situation is different because the team does not get a dispensation for him and he is in the hear and now, where the team is concerned. He could be cut or not but the two QBs are in totally different circumstances IMO.
