Maybe we don't need total overhaul of OL next year if Vela right. Depends on team assessment how much Johnson can improve performance 2006 (can he add significant strength/leverage since his frame doesn't allow adding weight/size) or can Gurode improve mental aspects of game to significantly upgrade and fight to start at center? s Johnson?). Maybe we don't need add high quality FA center as I had thought but not convinced. Don't know how Peterman/Noll other young backups performing in practice but obviously Parcells is. I think we gotta use first day draft picks to sign best OG who can challenge/replace/succeed Riveria/Allen no later then 2007. Also need sign young hightly talently OT (this year supposedly good in that department). If Vela correct in FB, Polite has to go but maybe we could sign really good FA fullback whose strength is blocking. Also Witten needs improve body strength so he can become very effect blocking TE to go along with his pass catching ability since he too good to sit. Also need sign blocking/receiving TE to replace Campbell if necessary.
Apparently most of us right about upgrading at OLB & if we can't afford sign top FA OLB to go along with Ware then we gotta use draft pick to get the guy we need. And still believe we gotta add a quality FS to help our secondary. Unsure whether Beriault can be that guy. He showed skill as SS but does if have the talent to be quality FS? So we must add 2 quality defensive players & at least 4 offensive players. Judging by what we able to do in 2005 offseason, this should be doable (assume we don't lose a draft pick by Jones stupid comments re TO). Why can't he just keep his mouth shut some times??
