If Wade remains

It is going to be very hard to stomach watching this team next year. I WILL NOT go as far to say I will not watch next year because that would be a lie. However, I had started saving money to attend a game next year. IF Wade remains that is not going to happen. I will not spend my hard earned money to purchase a ticket and what ever else goes with going to a home game. I wish more fans would do the same. That is the only thing that is going to wake Jerry up.

He can't remain. He just can't. Jerry can't do that to the fans, going into that new stadium. Even if we just promote Garrett, something has to change at the top. The ending to the season was embarassing and inexcusable. The head coach is the one who pays for that.

Knock yourself out...

I am trying to get tickets to the first game in the new stadium. I do NOT want to miss it. Anyone have any "INS" ?

The sad thing is that even if Wade is fired, nothing will change until Jerry changes.

I think it's folly to believe that any head coach would get dramatically different results with the way this GM puts a team together and conducts his business.

Your right. It starts at the top. Jerry needs to change his ways :bang2:

Wade said probably what they all need is some time off to regroup for next season.

Maybe you missed the memo, but Jerry has already said he's not firing Wade.

How does a coaching change help anything?

Depends on the coach who is brought in.

If a respectable heavy hitter like Cowher or Holmgren comes in, someone who like Parcells will command and get serious input over Jerry then that is a major change in the organization and how it functions currently, just as it was post-Campo.

If it means just firing Wade and promoting Garrett, or some other first time assistent etc, they you're right it means very little. Jerry still runs the circus.

We won't bring in a Holmgren or Cowher. I wouldn't be shocked if we hire a guy like Campo again. Jones doesn't want to give a guy too much power like he did Parcells.

My family was planning on taking a trip to Dallas next year to see a game in the new stadium. If Wade is here next year, we aren't going to spend our hard-earned money to watch a clearly unorganized and poorly coached team.

Last night was the second time this season I turned away from a Cowboys game or walked out. The first time was the Rams game. This is the first season EVER that I've walked out of or changed the channel away from a Cowboys game, and twice in one season is horrendous. Been a fan since '85.

I don't disagree with you, was just pointing out what *SHOULD* happen.

Welcome to 2009 - the new 2001.

Maybe he'll hire Campo again and trade away top draft picks for an over-rated WR... Oh wait

Agreed. Jerry has to change, but I don't think that happens.

Stinks for the people who bought season tickets and a PSL.

As long as the status quo remains for this organization, they won't get a cent from me.

That's why I think a Coaching change doesn't matter. Wade Phillips is as good as anyone we'll get right now. Getting rid of him doesn't really change anything and can probably only make it worse.

IF ?????

cupcake is coming back along with jerry's ivy league pet dummy .

Jerry is not FLUSHING $9 MILLION (jason & wade alone) then MILLIONS more for new coaches. Not with his ego and stupidity.

Personally I would not make a change with Wade or Garrett. If I thought Garrett was incapable of learning then yes but after last season everyone was singing his praise now he is the worst coach in the world? Sorry I don't buy that.

:laugh2:

you were sold a bill of goods on jason and wade. noone in their right mind said jason was ready nor competent. and last year sporano ran this offense -- that is now crystal clear.

sorry my fellow cowboy fan, but that is a tough pill to swallow.
