He listens to fans when the sales interest starts to suffer. And that's why I love Jones - he usually doesn't allow crap to go on too long, he usually puts an end to the madness. I for 1 will support him regardless, like I've always done.

I've seen a couple of articles that speculate the Cowboys are not going to spend a great deal of money in FA. I'd not be expecting us to make a whole lot of big moves or even early moves in FA. I guess we will see what happens.

I suppose to we don't have to sign any FAs except for a backup QB but that probably means we'll either draft a CB in the 1st, OG/OT in the 2nd and/or a NT somewhere in there as well & hope all of these make major contributions in their first season. On the 2nd day we'll try to fill another need in the 4th round & BPA the rest of the day.

Frankly unless some of you I don't expect or even want the Cowboys to go wild in this year's FA. I do want us to re-sign our own players like Colombo, Gramatica, Crayton, McBrier and any others we still want to keep. In FA we then sign our backup QB (maybe Herrington/Rattay) and one one big FA signing which would be a good young OG who can start immediately for us in place of Riveria. If the cap hit will cost us too much this year & Riveria physically can still be a decent backup, then keep him thru 07 season but cut him in 08.
