at 9 and 8 … and the last slot in the post season.

McCarthy and Zimmerman have a long week here to figure out how to contain Joe Burrow. You can’t stop him because he’s top three in football, but we have to find a way to contain him.

And if lamb is not on the field, we should look to trade him in the off season.

Burrow will throw for 400 against this d. And our offense won't be able to keep pace.

I know the bengals have a bad record, but they have lost a lot of games at the very end.

I see the bengals pulling away and putting an end to the cowboys season.

This you?

Boyle is a good QB who I believe beat us once before in Dallas / I could be wrong always at the other Irish named quarterback Flynn?

In an event, I think the Giants will come and fired up. They’ve been going at their coach. They’ve been going at each other as well - Nabors threw the staff...

Here's the thing: the Bengals ARE GOING TO TRY to win the game. It would be great if they intentionally lost like the Giants did (people here seem to love charity), but unfortunately that won't happen.

They have an NFL quality QB, and they're going to actually try to win the game. Bthis means they will beat us 45-6 or so.

But then, when we're 5-9, people can start making threads about "If we can WIN OUT, we can MAKE A RUN at 8-9, and a wild card #7 seed."

Definitely I can see him hitting big deep 4-5 times .

You posted a thread yesterday saying we would be lucky to beat the Giants. Not sure why you continue making bold statements. You’re not exactly Nostradamus. Lol One minute you’re real down on the team and the next minute you’re real high on them.

AAAAND - look at the division they play in. They’re battle tested.

27-20 we got fortunate - there was about four or five drives where we could even move the football.
We got lucky rush, was down on the fumble.
The only touchdown we had in the first half was a tipped pass.

He’s down on the team one day and high on them the next. It’s not like the team looked great today despite how bad the Giants are.
And I don’t disagree with you you are correct in your statement.
But the schedule looks very favorable for us.
If we had buffalo and Philadelphia next, of course I wouldn’t make this thread

Jerry Jones after his Cowboys beat the Giants:

"The bottom line is I see improvement. And with improvement, then we got teams ahead of us (over the final 5 weeks) that we can (beat)."

Lol the Bengals could easily be 8-3, they've gotten a ton of bad calls not go their way. This team is not beating the bengals. Might be a shootout but the cowboys fall short.

are we doubting the defense to much?

no, why does Zimmer have to be in this, hes done a fairly good job considering

that offense has been offensive.

the defense tires out from being on the field so much or watching the offense struggle and realize "we gotta bail them out again"

dont get me wrong, we have 4 stars on dfense and not playing up to standard, but Zimmer like standard, so, its a win in a way.

But for the life of anyone paying attention, the offensive line and offensive coordinator coaches have got to be fired.
