Round 1- Jonathan Cooper..I prefer him to Womack
Round 2- Eric Reid
Round 3- Travis Frederick

I nearly dont care what we do the rest of the draft. Sprinkle in a DT and and RB in any order and Im A OK going into this season.

I seriously doubt Reid lasts until our second and I doubt Frederick lasts until our third. Would be nice though, I'd jump for joy.

Yes Schwenke better fits a ZBS.

Yep then I would try to add Fragel or Quessenberry to develop for RT.
Next year look for a RG and RT.
The Oline will then be rebuilt

Any guarantee that Callahan and his ZBS will be around next year?

I think there may be a good chance both Garrett and Callahan are gone next year.

Last year, the Cowboys were strictly looking for 3-4 defenders at DL and LB. Ryan and the 3-4 are both gone in the blink of an eye.

I say forget scheme. Just draft the best player available regardless of scheme or position.

Well you could go that route and have a player that just does not fit what you are trying to do. You could have the best zone CB available and draft him and realize he just does not fit the man coverage your team plays.
You could draft the best OLB in the college ranks but does he fit the same way if he is going to play in a 3-4 as your main pass rusher or a 4-3.

There are things to consider and teams do consider these things.

However I will say this. With Frederick you might get a player who is more flexible because some think he could play OG in the pros and might be even better suited for that...so you get some flexibility like you would with Cooper over Warmack.

I like the cooper pick but don't really care for the other two. I think you could have done better with other available players.

I think there is a decent chance Reid is around, but we shall see in 20 day.

What dont you like about Reid? (curious not confrontational) and Frederick for that matter. He may not be ideal zone guy as mentioned, but hes a "football" player. I know its cliche' but you all know what I mean.

I agree, I think he has huge upside. I saw that Tennessee has him in for a visit today.

You think about it Dallas,Tennessee, Cardinals, Rams and Chargers all kind of have similar needs on the OL.
