In order for us to get the one seed, we need to win out and have Minnesota lose at least another game. Plus, need Philly to drop at least a third game somewhere. This is the likeliest path to the one.
Alternatively, we can drop one more game (As long as it's not to Philly), have Minnesota drop two more games. While Philly loses three games. Honestly this seems like the most least likely scenario. It's alot of losses to ask from those other teams.
I personally believe Minnesota is on borrowed time. I do not believe they are better than us, Philly, or SF. If they miraculously got to the SB, they would get mauled by KC, healthy Buffalo, or even Baltimore imo. That 9-2 record is very flawed. The game plan is to throw it up to Jefferson and just hope he comes down with everything. That won't work against great to elite teams.
The NFL needs to look at changes to the postseason after this year. Our reward for being 13-4 or 12-5 etc is visiting a Tom Brady led TB team who will have 7 or 8 losses. They get rewarded by hosting a playoff game just for winning a very bad division.
