If we don't win the division...

Watching the Skins lose is enjoyable, knowing the Eagles are a couple losses away from missing the playoffs already, and figuring the Giants' schedule is just too tough to hope for anything better than 9-7, I just do not see how we can not win the division. I've got a peaceful, easy feeling and I know they won't let me down...

The only team that can beat the Cowboys is the Cowboys, sadly they're extremely good at doing just that

It would seem we are in good shape right now, but you just never know.

Next week against philly will be huge. Win and they are all but done. Lose to the eagirls and they are right back in it

I agree if this team can ever get both Offense and D to play good during the Same Game and if the playcalling is right then Dallas is a hard team to beat. But they have yet to do those things

Win the division?

Take away the 91 yard run, and we have 19 yards total offense with 2 minutes left in the first.

The Giants are the favorite here.

Their experience in last 3-4 years has proven they can get it done if they had to.

The Cowboys haven proven the contrary.

Dont tell me - SHOW ME!!!

And nobody else in the division would necessarily be doing any better.

I agree. The division is ours. We just need to rest people now for the playoffs. Gotta be smart.

I agree. Rock....

The Eagles are one win away next week from having the exact same record as us.

Settle down with giving us the division already.

Jeez.

The team that loses next week is not going to make the playoffs.

That is how big that game is for us.

Lol who cares? Bottomline is Murray scored. With NyG's schedule and their yearly collapse I don't see how we don't win the division.

:lmao2:

Lol wut? Where have you been the last 2 years? The Giants were in perfect position to take the division crown and they absolutely collapsed. I don't see why anyone would expect any different especially considering their schedule.

If we beat the Eagles next week, I think we win the division.

However, if we lose I think our playoff chances are done. I read somewhere that less than 10% of 3-4 teams make the playoffs, so next week is freaking huge!!!!!

These stats don't matter. Just go through the schedule and project wins and losses by which teamed will be favored and the Eagles and Washington grade out at 8-8, the Giants at 7-9 and the Cowboys at 9-7.

Next week is just one game. If we split which each division opponent this year that will put us on pace for 9-7. We would have to go 4-1 against Seattle, Buffalo, Miami, Arizona and Tampa Bay. We will be favored on all of those games.

If we split with the Giants and Eagles and take another one from Washington, then we just have to go 3-2 against those lesser opponents.

I think, unless the Eagles make a miraculous recovery, that 9-7 takes the division this year.

So that means the Eagles won't make it either. It's going to come down to us or the Eagles. Commanders are starting to show their true colors and are collapsing. The Giants have the toughest schedule and will collapse.

There is nobody left who we SHOULD lose to, although there are a number of games we certainly could lose. The most irksome thing about this is that the games we WERE supposed to lose we very nearly pulled out and we could easily be sitting at 6-0 now.

On the other hand, in hindsight the 49ers game was a much better win than I was expecting. That team just looks good this year.

So what does this mean? Nothing at this point. Just because we should win all of our remaining games doesn't mean we will. The Bills are a good team this year as are the Buccaneers. The Giants can still put together some long drives, the Eagles can still go for a long score, and the Commanders will play us hard regardless of how they're doing.

We could go 12-4 (as I predicted at the start of the season) or wind up 10-6 and I don't see either as more or less likely than the other right now with our remaining schedule. Put away the anointing oil and lets just play the games.
