If we get Zimmer as DC

How soon we forget when we had Zimmer as DC everyone wanted him gone since he was so predicatble on defense.... everyone would line up and stay in the same stance and telegraph what rush or pass defense we would go with at the snap...QB's could audible out at the line since we showed what we were going to do.....plus all the db's he coached always played the receiver and no the ball like we do now and interceptions were far and few between.....but he has a history with Jerry and Parcells always liked his work ethic so who knows.....but Fangio would be a better choice with our players on defense

Using safeties at linebacker and watching Parsons line up on the edge has been fun.

Zimmer may very well get hire by another team looking for a HC. Or a HC somewhere else may also get him for a DC.

Don't be surprised if he is the Dolphins or NYG next HC.

I don’t think Zimmer would even be considered. Has he ever had a great defense as a coordinator…..

his defense, similar to garrett offense is not innovative and relies solely on execution and thus needs superior players to pull it off. when zimmer had the LBs and DEs in Minny, he had top defenses, when they don't then his defenses have been average. nothing innovative about what he does. he likes to blitz a lot. he is also strictly a 4-3 DC. so can he take Gregory, Lawrence and Parsons and build a top ecehlon defense?

The most successful coaches start off young, like Landry, etc.

Zim's 65 years old, need some new blood on the coaching staff, not re-treads.

I like Zimmer but he's not a good fit for the Cowboys...

Dallas has to bring in a creative DC who knows what to do with Parsons, and can build/teach a solid defense around him.

Have you watched Zimmers defenses since he left Dallas. He completely changed his defensive approach, and that was like 15 years ago.
