If we had signed Von Miller

I disagree with the OP I think that's a horrible idea...

heheheh

just imagine if we had drafted TJ Watt instead of Taco Charton ... to combine with eventual Parsons ..

how do you scheme them both ...as well as how do you pay them both ..?

I thought that also but I really think that if we had TJ Watt in 2020 we might have won an extra game or 2 and might have never been able to get Micah. Watt would of been a big enough difference maker to win us close games that we lost.

If we had picked up Von do we still pick up Barr? Barr is playing a lot LB when Parson's is a rusher. Well at least he was against the Bengals.

Quick example of what I'm getting at. Jabril was out against the Bengals. If we don't have Barr that means Parson would have to play LB a whole lot more and maybe he only has 1 sack and 5 QB pressures instead of 2 sacks and 10 QB pressures.

Then we could bump tank out to his natural position on the BENCH because that's where he belongs

Cowboys traded DOWN in draft and still got Parsons.

Argument doesn't fly.

Are you really equating the play and impact of Barr and Von friggin Miller????

Miller is worth Tank + Armstrong + LVE + Basham with a LOT left over.

I think they would have drafted Slater.

I think they would have drafted Slater.

- According to pre-draft reports, the Cowboys considered Slater more of a OG than an OT.

Slater is a great OT too, but you don't get such rare dominators like Parsons coming around very often.
i don't regret that pick at all, Still startling that Parsons himself slid to No. 12th overall

- Ironically another eventual Charger player the Cowboys passed over was CB Asante Samuels Jr, who reported the Cowboys thought more
as a nickel CB (ala Jordan Lewis) than an starting outside guy.

- Instead in in 2nd rd., we drafted Kelvin Joseph, who is a inferior player than Samuel Jr. who starts for Chargers.

Just imagine how much nastier & scarier this unit would be!

Loving it

Don't you guys just love these Fantasy land posts? I'll take the guys that they have like Fowler and Armstrong.

Google butterfly effect. I don't think the Cowboys land or go for Parsons if they already have Watt. Neither of us will ever know so the argument doesn't really matter to begin with.

Parsons was drafted as a LB.

Parsons never played DE in college.

It was as real an option as re-signing Randy Gregory just this offseason, stop playing like Micah wasn't recruiting Von Miller or that Von Miller practically begged Cowboys to sign him to a reasonable offer.

Enough with the fake truths.

You can be a homer all you like but stop detaching from reality just because you're a "true fan".

Money would've been better spent this season with a legit threat at WR opposite Lamb. Oh wait, we had one and traded him for a 5th round draft pick...<sigh>

Could of had BOTH.

Amari Cooper and Von Miller.
