It’s being telegraphed. Shadeur and Deion. Shadeur Sanders had taken a bottom tier team with a garbage offensive line to possibly one of the best teams in the big 12 doing it himself.

He is the type of kid that would flourish in the circus. Would be stupid to not pick him and reset. Alex Smith and the Chiefs situation all over again.

I can see this happening as we are going to have the pick for it..................

Shadeur is better prospect than Dak EVER was. Say what you want about the Sanders Family “Drama”, but you can just see how well he’s been groomed to play QB. He already reads the progressions faster than Dak and has a great arm.

I don't watch the college game at all. Is he that good or is it the name giving him all this attention?

There is no family drama. He is raised in a household of a 2 sport pro athlete who was under as much media scrutiny any DAL player will ever be.

He thrived in it - now he is teaching his son how to navigate this and still be a perennial QB. Dak had to get a masters in leadership to learn how to do this - it is a skill.

The fact that this kid doesn't falter under the big lights is why we should take him even if it comes with his father as the HC. Deion resonates with the kids - he can get them motivated and ready to play more than an old washed up re-tread hag. It's time we put some respect on Deion's name for where he took Colorado with Travis and Shadeur.

If we have #1....then I'm trying everything I can to move down, but still top 5 and gather assets. They need them in a bad way.

I'd look at Sanders in a trade down, but you know dad is might be a package deal. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Deion coaching and having his son sit behind an aging Dak looks, sound like drama. Jerry would love it probably, but not sure I want any part of it

There is no college QB this year worth the first pick

trade back to around ten or so and get some real good picks

that way we can get as many as half the upgrades we need in the draft

Bluntly speaking I do not see any player I would use the overall First on

Funny things happen every draft cycle, but this class is not looking strong. I'd compare it to 2022, which had zero NFL-caliber QBs and maybe 3 blue chip prospects (Aiden Hutchinson, Kayvon Thibodeux, Kyle Hamilton).

In fairness, Shedaur and Cam Ward are still better prospects than Kenny Pickett, but they're rough around the edges. And who are your other blue-chippers? Travis Hunter is a phenom, but is there anyone else who has the NFL drooling?

If he wasn’t Deion’s son and he was the same prospect, he’d be worthy of the Top pick in my opinion…he’s REALLY GOOD!!!!!

None warrant a top 5 pick. Trade down, pick up a 1 and additional picks for the 2026 draft. There are a few you may look at in the middle to end of round 1.
