Same for me. I really really wanted the win, but we hung in there. Heck, pregame all the announcers were talking a blow-out win for the Bucs. I also respect the willingness of the offensive staff to identify the other team's strengths and work around them. Some peeps may say having 58 pass attempts was stupid, but Dak looked great and we almost pulled it off.

Its important to remember you never get as much time to prepare for any game as you do week 1. Typically you are never healthy as you are week 1. You also can suprise teams with stuff they have not seen yet on offense.

I imagine this weekend we will see a bunch of points for these reasons.

It will be in weeks 10-17 when offenses are basically running plays the opponents have seen repeatedly and have time to prepare to find out how good or consistent these offenses are.

I agree on zeke assessment....I stopped getting mad 20 years ago after the triplets retired.....because I keep reading the same 'ole thing year after year after year......for 20+ yrs.....hangining in there wont win games let alone championships

Yeah I don't know why people care how they score just as long as they do it. We are going to need Zeke in games this year but without Zack Martin against the best rush defense in the league? Last night wasn't one of them.

Zeke also blew up about 5 blitzes that would have put Dak back in the hospital. He was outstanding.

I actually think Zeke played one of the better games of all our offensive players. He looked quick when he got the ball, he actually had some great runs that should of been no gains and he punished every one who tackled him. His blocking in the backfield is one of the most fun things to watch if you like big hits. Linebackers probably hate blitzing the Cowboys because of the lick they get from Zeke. Dude is a football player. When we get Zach back and aren't playing the best front 7 in football, I have no doubt Zeke will look great this season.
