If we lose we are out of the playoffs?

No, not at all. If Philly drops one game and we beat Washington and Philly, we win the division (assuming the Giants lose one game also). Even if Philly loses one and we beat Washington and Philly, we get the 6th seed.

I don't know all the scenarios but the one I do know is that if Green Bay starts to slide, we could beat them out for the Wild Card.

I didn't hear it myself but I assume what they are trying to say is that if we loose and the Giants win both teams will be 8-6 and the Giants would then hold the 6th seed because they swept the season series.

But there is no way we can be eliminated from the Playoffs based on what happens this week.

I heard that on NFLN as well and immediately was like these guys are idiots..I thought about it for a second and determined they meant that if we lose and the giants win we are out of the playoffs if it ended this week. Meaning we are no longer a top 6 team in the NFC and we no longer control our own destiny.

I gotcha. A win tonight would make it a lot easier to get into the playoffs. I'm pretty sure if we win tonight and the Giants lose Monday night, we would clinch a playoff spot with a win over Washington next Sunday night.

According to that if we lose tonight and the Giants win out, they are in and we are out.
