Dak was 22 of 25 for 276 passing yards, 2 TDs (should have been 3 had Schultz caught that perfectedly thrown ball in the endzone) and a 139.3 passer rating. Dak easily could have thrown 40+ times, but that would have increased his passing numbers above 400 passing yards, 4+ TDs and a win...which would have upset you Dak haters.
yep, but his handoff was what set him apart tonight. I have never seen him hand off the ball as he did. I give him an A+ at that. If the defense hadn't played so well I'd give dak the game ball for his hand offs.

 Wow, I'm glad you brought this up. My cousins and I noticed Dak's crisp handoffs as well. Definitely made running so much easier for our RBs.

Yes but when we dominate on the ground it sets up a more effective passing attack which was almost flawless today. I can’t recall when Prescott was more polished.

It’s simply a better recipe for success when you can run the ball more efficiently. And we must get the ball in Pollards hands more as he’s becoming our most explosive weapon.

Running the ball more also sets our defense up for success especially when we have lead. Throwing for 400 yards as an afterthought would have been fine today but not the recipe we need for the total team success we are pursuing.

For sure. You are right, G. But if our run had been stopped or slowed down, I feel Dak could have carried the Offense. Granted, the success of the run definitely set up the pass.

No doubt he has the ability to do so but our running game takes that pressure off, limiting mistakes and turnovers as well as setting our defense up for success.

With this defense which can dominate when not giving up chunks on the ground along with a dominating running game which keeps our opponents off the field , it allows Prescott without the pressure to carry us which appears a more successful role.

Kinda reminds me of how much more effective Romo was in 2014 when he had the dominating running. He wasn’t needed as much to carry us. Doesn’t mean not having ability.

Watching todays game, I was thinking that Prescott was all we need. With our defense and running game and our effective passing game and QB I don’t recall in recent years when we appear to have been a more serious contender. It’s a winning recipe!!

And that's what we tried against GB, and it lost us the game.

This is the point. When we go passhappy, we lose way too often.

We didn't lose the game because we passed 40 times. We lost the game because of bad routes by CeeDee that led to Interceptions and the Defense unable to stop the Packers.

dak was not good the first half. Not by a long shot. And run game sputtered most of the day.

full team loss

And an O that could not sustain drives. At least partially from too much passing.

How so? I saw differently. Dak played good the first half against the Packers. So did Keyshawn Johnson and several others.

Correlation does not equal causation is like, the first day of research methods. Typically, teams pass more when they're losing. That is a FAR FAR FAR FAR cry from pass less so we can have a better chance to win.
