If we want a QB, don't trade down lower than 7

If Wentz and Ramsey are gone by 4, and we don't like Bosa there, we should trade down no lower than San Fran at 7 and pick Lynch. I am not buying that Lynch is going to slide to end of first round. I think Philthy at 8 and Rams at 15 are in play. Jets are bringing In Lynch this week. They are at 20.

Otherwise, the rest of the QBs are not as talented IMO and would be rolls of the dice. We should get our franchise QB now and not get too cute.

If Goff is good, we should take him ourselves. But don't see Jacksonville or Ravens taking a QB. I guess someone could trade up to get ahead of them but if they think Goff is so good they need to trade up and get him maybe we should look at him a little harder and what would keep those same teams from trading up in front of us and taking Lynch?

I think if we have Goff and Lynch closely rated, we could trade down to 7 and get one of them. But if we trade down lower, I doubt we get either.

For all you draft a QB advocates it's a near certainty Wentz or Goff is there at 4. No trading down is nessisary. Trade down to 7 and both are most likely gone and you are looking at 3rd and 4th round QBs at that point.
