I would take Lance.

My one worry w/Wilson will be risk of injury.

He's not a particularly big, sturdy guy. And his amazing off-platform throws do torque the shoulder. He had torn labrum in 2019.

I know some are high on Fields but he looks like another Haskins to me.

Mac Jones is the prototypical pocket QB like Aikman and Manning. The Cowboys have weapons, all he has to do is get the ball to them. He can make all the throws accurately because he had to in order to stay on the field at Bama. They grade their QB's on the mental part and post game very harshly. Saban's #1 requirement is decision making. Mac Jones was throwing in the narrowest windows because of the conference he played in.

At least one of these QB's will bust because everything we've seen from them is throwing to college open receivers. When the window gets smaller, the inaccurate QB's bust.

I would take Lance.

Would need to understand what happened to Dak, what we got in return, who we still had, at QB on the roster. If we still had, say Dalton or brought in a decent QB option, like say Darnold, I would 100% take Zach Wilson, sit him on the bench for a couple of seasons and coach him up. You do that with that kid and you have a more Talented Romo. Maybe better then Rodgers.

So, need more info before I could definitively answer this hypothetical.

I would not draft Jones or Fields. Jones can't run our Offense, you would have to start over at OC and I don't think Jerry would do that so you would have a QB who can't run the Offense our OC knows, likes and will call. That's a recipe for disaster IMO. Besides, I don't believe Jones is all that, to be honest. Fields is just the opposite. He's a QB who has trouble going through his reads. That's gonna hurt him in the NFL IMO. He will need to sit down and work with so really good QB Coaches to improve there IMO. He's not ready to start, IMO, and may never be. The next guy for me would easily be Lance, and it might be Lance anyway, to be honest. I really like that kid and I think he could end up being the most successful QB in this draft. Both Lawrence and Wilson are going into fail situations IMO. I think they could both be ruined by the time they hit their second contract.

We'll see.
