IF we were to go RB in Round 1, I'm thinking

that by 22 Dmac, Stewart, and Mendenhall could all be off the board.

Of course, you never know, as RBs fall in the draft. But if that's the scenario, I am thinking that the more safe RB to draft of who is remaining would be R Rice. That's if we want to take a RB in Round 1 somewhere. The alternative is F Jones, I'd think.

In Round 2, where we draft, I think Choice or Forte may be there at RB. I'm guessing Johnson and Charles will be gone.

OK, in Round 2, assuming Charles and Johnson are gone, decision between Choice, Forte, Hart, and maybe K Smith . . . .

Not too shabby either.

I think his 4.6+ time drops him to maybe the 4th through 6th round. Also, w/o the breakaway speed, he may be too similar to Barber.

I think either R Rice in Round 1 or a guy like Choice or Forte in Round 2, assuming the other guys I suggested above are already gone, is a win-win for us either way.

Or, if we wait until Round 4 or thereafter, maybe a guy like C Boyd (assuming all the other "names" are gone)?

4.24 at 28 please. I'm not waiting until the second round. I'll take a receiver there. Speaking of which, Sweed and Hardy both put up nice times for big guys.

Honestly I'd take another Barber with no hesitation. Neither is going to take the rock and score from 90 yards away but you'd have a defense worn out by the second quarter.

If those 3 are off the board, then we'd be foolish to pick a RB in round 1.

glad Choice had a good day i've mentioned him a ton and seem to be the only one who liked him until now.

I'd agree and would love to have 2 Barbers, but the reason to get two different types of backs is so the defense has to spend extra preparation time on the different skill sets. If we have two similar runners, they can defend them the same way.
