Was just going through the standings and next weeks schedule. I believe if we win on TNF we clinch a playoff spot.

We would be 11-1
Teams already out of contention with us are Bears, 49ers, Cardinals, Rams, Panthers. also I believe the Packers also. That is 6 teams
Win a win it will eliminate Vikings, Eagles & Saints. That is 9 teams.

If we lose, then losses by Eagles and Saints still take them out. keeping it at 8.

The 2 teams in the mix are the Commanders and Buccs. If we win, then a loss by either of these teams gets us to 10 teams eliminated vs. us.

I didn't go through all the tie breakers on a few of the teams. Just going by standings and that we beat GB head to head.

Jazz, as great as those scenarios are (and thanks for posting, brother!), I would trade those losses (TB/WSH) for a NYG loss. Let's go PIT!!!

We need a NYG loss.

(Yes, folks, I know we don't, but let me entertain some hyperbole, doggonit!)

I agree. I would love a NYG loss, and a DAL win. Then that trip to New York is so much more meaningful. Knock out the Giants, get revenge for week 1, and shut up Max Kellerman. Oh what a weekend that can be. On SNF no less. Also, with a Seattle loss this weekend to Carolina and a Dal win, we can pretty much lock up HFA with a win at NYG if i am not mistaken.

I can't see the Giant's winning this game, Pittsburgh should expose these frauds. The Giants schedule finally gets tough and they could easily go downhill quicker than Lindsey Vonn in the next 5 games.

We also need GB to take care of SEA on the 11th, and if ARod plays like he did last night, there's a good chance that happens. Earl Thomas is hurt and SEA's O is sputtering right now.

Give me a SEA loss (they play Cam this Sunday night -- rebound for Cam, anyone?) and NYG loss football gods!!!

But most importantly... @VACowboy JUST WIN, BABY :)

To be honest, I'll be mildly shocked if Pittsburgh doesn't beat the Giants. I just don't see the Giants being able to score enough to beat the Steelers at their place. Hope I'm right.

Technically we can still win it all with a Giants win. You're going overboard. Tired of fans on this board going from one extreme to another. Come down to planet reality my friend. Lol.

Sorry bro. Couldn't resist speaking up for all of the designated Debbie Downers around here.

I'm waving my terrible towel right now!?!:flagwave:

Wut? Bro, did you not read my parenthesized pre-text?

I'll help ya, it's at the bottom of my post you replied, too. Dude, take a moment and read the posts you are replying to, Robbie.

You're a great poster, brother, please don't take this personally. I know I come across like an *** sometimes.
You can always just say "hi" Robbie :flagwave:

I'm breathing fresh air if NY loses. Definitely need NY to lose.
