If we win the next two games

Magically we'll go from being a playoff long shot to best team in the nfl, and a super bowl favorite.

The media is a joke, but I've been saying it for a while.

Rob Ryan is putting out such a great defense, and with the talent we have on offense....

We have the potential to have the best offense in the nfl, and one of the best defenses in the nfl.

I really think this year can be our year. That is why I want us to get Randy Moss. That is why I wanted us to get Brian Waters who is now starting for the Patriots), instead of Derrick Dockery and Laurent Robinson... It's too late on Waters, but it isn't too late on Moss.

It's time to take the pressure off of Romo and this banged up offense. Help the offensive line, by taking away a blitzer.

"Take the ball deep, take the top of the defense."

I would be down with making trades this year. Trade for a linemen if you have to.

The defense is ONLY going to get better if we can get and stay healthy. Bruce Carter and Orlando Scandrick should be able to help us in the coming weeks. I'm not sure how much Bruce Carter can help, but let's not count him out all together. He hasn't played, but I'm sure he isn't just sitting at home... He is learning the defense, just as Newman was.

This defense gave up 16 points, but who thinks that happens if we aren't stalling on offense, or Ogletree isn't fumbling on our own 20... take the pressure off this defense by making the offense better and more consistent.

That means

- Cut Ogletree, nearly cost us the game countless times.
- Cut Choice, maybe he likes to lose against Washington...
- Sign Randy Moss, he would have no power in the locker room, but he would take the pressure off the line, romo, the running game...
- Perhaps try and trade for a linemen, even if we have to overpay. We need to protect Romo, and we have to do a better job run blocking. There will be a team by week 6 that will go into fire sale mode. Guarantee it. When that happens, we need to be there to buy some pieces.

We have a good team potentially great... do whatever it takes to put "OVER THE TOP" this year.

Here is to hoping we can shut down the Lions and the Patriots. I think we can do it, if we can get healthy.

Well our division is certainly there for the taking. Just unmasked the Skins and the Eagles are just not that good. They were 7 minutes away from being 9-7 last year and their defense is worse now. The Giants are a wildcard but they seem to take care of themselves with their second half collapses. Don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but things are looking good if we just beat the teams we're supposed to beat.

Slow down Cowboy. Not that I'm not happy with our wins but let's be real we're gonna have to play alot better than we did the last couple of weeks in order to beat Detroit and New England. The division is up for grabs, but the Packers are and should be the favorite until someone dethrones them.

If Romo beats the 3-0 resurgent lions and the new england patritos and tom bieber brady, he will be the talk of the town...

True there is still the Packers, but I think there will be non stop discussion about Romo and Aaron Rodgers, and whether or not this Cowboys team is better than the Packers...

Another note: Green Bay has the 29th ranked defense in the nfl, compared to our team, who is the 5th. We're also the 5th ranked offense in the nfl, despite not being healthy. Green Bay is 8th.

we're 5th in offense and defense, and no other team is in the top 10 in both...

Lions game will be tough. They have shown the ability to bring pressure without using the blitz and in doing that can keep extra DB back in coverage. Cowboys offense will have their work cut out for them.

Exactly the reason why I desperately want Randy Moss in a cowboys uni today.

Hopefully Miles can come back this week, Dez further recovers... and Randy Moss puts us over the top. As a 3rd receiver, this guy makes a huge difference, rather than NO difference.

I thought there was a tweet yesterday from Shefter or someone stating that Dallas has no interest in Moss.

Big question with that guy is his DESIRE. He has money and still relatively young, but he just up and retires. Is he even in shape, has he been running and lifting and catching balls.

I don't care what ANYONE says...

One week Jerry Jones, remember him? The owner and GM? He said we would not go outside our roster to get an offensive guard.... a week or so later we are signing derrick dockery...

I go back to 1998... Not getting Moss for Aikman's sake then cursed the cowboys, not getting Randy Moss now for Romo's sake now, puts immense pressure on a wr corps that is battling injuries and lack of depth, an offensive line that is trying to gel...

Sorry I don't. Dallas has worked hard to get rid of idiots and the culture on this team is changing I don't want to take steps backwards.

The Cowboys have to clean up their game. Once you get in the playoffs, you are dead meat if you are playing like they played last night.

I agree. However I will say many felt that these young guys would make mistakes and the key will be improveing as they move forward. We have played 3 games and we are 2-1 and no one in Dallas is kidding themselfs that there are no problems and there is ample work to do.

We got Charles Haley and Deion Sanders, and guess how that worked...

Yeah, the boys won't win their next two games... neither will the Skins. Both clubs are a work in progress, and the Lions have more talented talent than both.

If we win the next two games, I will change my user name to " Joe Sunshine " for the rest of the year.

I'm like the world's biggest Randy Moss fan, but he's not what we need. Dez and Miles can both take the ball deep with the best of them.

Someone like Derrick Mason who can run precise routes and not drop balls would have been cool though, for depth.

Both are hurt...

With the way this team has played, I think it's best we take it one game at a time like hopefully the players are. Right now we could just as easily be 0-3 as 2-1.

We could just as easily be 3-0...
