what do you do?

If I truly want Manziel, I try to find a trading partner and move down a few slots, add more picks, then take my guy.

If I want Clowey, I just take him.

If I want Robinson, I just take him.

I do not see Bortles and Bridgewater in a Texans uniform.

take the best pro style QB - Blake Borltes

they traded away Shaub

you think they are going to go with Fitzgerald at QB

Agreeable, looks like a QB but they put out "maybe they wait to the 2nd round", doubt that...looks like a 1st round QB for Houston ... or there could be a problem.

Bortles or Clowney @1 or trade back a few spots if they have fallen in love with JFF. There's no way I'd take him #1 overall.

They're in great shape because they have a huge need at Tackle as well as QB. Depending on who you talk to, there are 3 QBs and 3 OTs that all could be taken early.

Unless they absolutely love one of the QBs, they should try to trade down, imo.

On paper, the 1st overall pick has so much value that even if you didn't get value chart "fair value" you could trade down just a few slots, and still have a top 5-6 pick this year, add a high second this year, a high 3rd this year and maybe a 2nd next year.

All it would take is one of those top teams to be in love with Clowney or one of the QBs and Houston really can have the best of both worlds here: get the top-end player, get a bunch of extra high-value picks, and not have to pay #1 overall money.

Yeah, I take the number one guy on the board--Clowney and get a QB later.

Ideal would be to drop back three spots and get Robinson or Matthews though.

Hard to say since I don't know what trade offers, if any, they'll get for the pick.

If I had to select a player I would take Teddy Bridgewater. He's not the best player in the class but he's close and he's a QB.

1st I look to see if any of the teams in the top 10 are looking to move to the overall #1 so I can get the extra pick and still make a pick within the top 10 then look to take a QB.

Houston and St Louis are sitting pretty...especially St Louis...they could use the #2, trade down to get more...plus they still have pick #13...they should come away from the draft with 3 or 4 starters at least

Scenario for the Cowboys:

Would you trade 16 to Houston for 33, 65, & 101 alongwith a 2015 2nd if Johnny Football or Bridgwater were there?

Now I throw this scenario out there with Barr, Donald, & Evans off the board.

you have the number one pick, you need a QB, but there really isn't a QB that is worthy. If there was a cam, an rg3, a luck, hell even a bradford you take him and hope for the best but I just don't see any QB that you can say "this guy is going to have us competing for a championship soon"

If you take a QB #1 overall he has to be able to transform your team from day one and I don't see that from any of these guys and the fact that there isn't a guy that anybody can come to a consensus on should scare the texans from taking one of them first.

I'd take clowney and have faith that crennel along with guys like watt and cushing can push him to work and watch how scary that pass rush will be. Then If you are comfortable with which ever guy falls, see if you can trade into the 20s for him. If not (not comfortable or can't work the trade) I'd take someone like aaron murray in the mid rounds and hope you can rehab and develop him and come out of this thing looking like a genius.

If you are a GM and you take a QB #1 you pretty much sink or swim with that pick and I'm not sure I bet my job on any of this years QB crop.

Yes I would but I don't think Houston is that dumb

I'd take Mack #1 and the best available QB first pick in round 2

Take Clowney, not even a question on who the consensus #1 player is.

If they really, really want a QB in the 1st, trade down just a few spots and take Teddy B.

Id take clowney and wait until round 2 to pick a QB. Hopefully someone like Brees is waiting there ... short but can still throw it.

I would do that trade regardless of if Barr, Donald and Evans were off the board.

Absolutely. No brain trade.
