I would not draft for position, I draft the highest player left on my board that has a first round grade. If all of my the players I gave first round grades to are gone, then I trade out of the first round.


This is how it is suppose to be done, there is a reason teams create a draft board and assign grades to players. I heard that Dallas gave out 23 first round grades, so if all 23 are gone, why on earth would we draft a 2nd round player in the 1st???

2 gaping problems with that.

1: We have a top 5 QB who is still young by QB standards.
2. Colt McCoys top-potential to to be the next Kyle Orton. AT BEST.


I wouldnt take a QB @27 if Bradford was still on the board, or Clausen it makes no sense.
