Not behind our offensive line.

Typical generic answer.

I think your previous answer where you stated you'd take the highest rated offensive guard instead of actually naming a player exposed the fact that you don't watch NFL football outside of the cowboys so I'll be happy to inform you that Rodgers has been playing behind a below average line for most of his career.

I watch many other games other than the Cowboys. Guards aren't your household name type players so excuse me for not knowing. As far as Rogers playing behind a below average line for most of his career, that's just pure hogwash.

Can't agree. I like Earl Thomas way more along with Berry.

I think Weddle might be the best all around Safety. Not just a pure Free or Strong but a guy who can play both very well. He's in that discussion IMO. Byrd might be better but they are both very good in that role.

Rodgers was sacked around 15 times more than Romo last year. I'm in agreement with him. Give me Rodgers.

So the fact that Rodgers was sacked more than Romo is strictly due to offensive line woes? How about mobility of the QB?

For Offense, I'd take A.P because I believe Romo's a good enough QB to win with, he just needs some help. A top 5 running game could be that extra help we've been needing to make a play off run. Aaron Rodgers is a close 2nd to AP, best QB in the NFL.

As for defense, I'd take a healthy D.Revis or the rising P.Peterson. Could you imagine facing against a defense that has D.Revis or P.Peterson/M.Claiborne/B.Carr/S.Lee/B.Carter/D.Ware/A.Spencer. That would be a nightmare for opposing QBs.

Add any player in the league for a 3 year contract, who would it be?

Rules -
Can't pick someone just to sabotage another team. (we are cloning the person)
If your choice is an offensive player, name the defensive player you would take and vice versa.

I would take Geno Atkins over any other player in the league for our roster currently, J.J. Watt is a very close seconc. (as you can tell I am all about the trenches).

Ware/Atkins/Hatcher/Spencer ... :eek::eek::eek:

On offense I would take Adrian Peterson, although grabbing a blue chip OL is very tempting. Even as a huge Romo fan, Aaron Rodgers is tempting as well.. but Peterson gets the nod here for me. I am actually considering whether I would take Peterson over Atkins.. its such a difficult call for me.

Interested to see your guys opinions, should be a fun topic.

When I read this question my two answers were Geno Atkins and Adrian Peterson, then I saw your answers lol, great minds.

Not as good as Romo. Not even close.

I think that Rodgers general athleticism is often overlooked. He is a very mobile QB. It is often the fact that he chooses to stay in the pocket and try to beat you with his arm IMO. But I do think that Romo has more of an elusive touch to his game.

In your opinion. Rodgers, IMO, has very good mobility. He probably has a little better footspeed then does Romo and he throws better of the run then Romo does. You can debate it all you want but the point was never who has better mobility. The point was, the sacks on Rodgers are not because he has poor mobility because he actually has very good mobility for a throwing QB.
