If you could choose one draft pick to perform like Parsons did last year, which one would it be?

Tyler Smith is an obvious answer to me.
The OL badly needs his size and strength.
He's a day 1 starter so if he were bad that would hurt quite a lot.

Good or bad Sam will be rotational, and Tolbert will be a 3rd or 4th option for Dak at best.

Better be Tolbert because they do not know when Gallup will be 100% and I still say there is hesitancy there about whether Lamb is a legit WR1.

You're probably right. The real answer is right here. Any of them. If you hit a player of Parsons' level two years in a row at any position, you're a serious contender.
Exactly! Hitting the lottery twice in a row is class!

My initial thought would be Sam Williams. However, if any of these guys shows up like Parsons did, I am really happy.

Another pass rusher to take the pressure off of Parsons and he and Parsons could both get 20 sacks a year.

Yeah Sam Williams or John Ridgeway. Flip a coin. Either would be a huge boost.

If Damone Clark could play this year he would actually surpass anything Micah has done or ever will do in the league.
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....no. Doesn't have near the pure physical talent.

Sam Williams first....and John Ridgeway second... I wanna have a rock'em sock'em defense ; but i do get the interest in the OL. My darkhorse would be Cox.., need another LB to match Parson's impact. I know Cox was last year pick, but did not play much before he got hurt.

It's clearly Tyler Smith.
The question is which rookie would we want to perform like Micah.
Having a dominate LT to take over for Tyron Smith (because he's not going to make it through the season without missing games) to guard Dak's blind side and open up the running game?
I'd take that over a defensive player because if we have another Anthony Munoz anchoring the offensive line, we can use our running game to wear defenses out. We'd likely score on most of our possessions - if not all - and we make our opponent's offense resort to passing to keep pace.
Make a team one dimensional with the passing game, and that plays to the Cowboys' strength on defense anyway with Micah, DLaw and Sam Williams providing the pass rush.
You don't need a dominant DT if the other team is going to be in passing mode most of the game.
