I understand the concerns with dragging a series out too long. But man. They really really tried to condense too much stuff into the last couple of seasons.

Two series that remain firmly within my Top 75 all-time television opening themes, although Perry Mason is much closer to my number 1 and Mannix is much closer to my number 75, lol.

Here's an idea for a similar but different thread ..

"If you could get one completely re-written final episode for any TV show, what would it be?"

I think most shows that ended badly could have been fixed by adding or rewriting the final episode.

For example .. "LOST" .. I wouldn't want a whole new season of that show, but one final episode rewritten with a better explanation would make it worth rewatching again. To this day I have only ever watched that series one time and have no plans to ever watch it again given how badly it ended.

Yeah, I remember feeling somewhat betrayed when they shoveled that....stuff....into the final episode. I bet if Hollywood took a poll of the worst TV episodes ever, that would be #1, even above the final episode of GoT.
