If you could have had any rookie from 2009 and have them on the Cowboys?

Who would you choose, for me without question it is Brian Cushing, Cushing on the left side, add in Ware, Brooking, James and we got a beast 3-4, even more beast than we have had

You?

Percy Harvin and it's not even close.

Sad part is we could have had him. We talked last year about a "wow" player.

Well guess what, Percy is about as wow as they come.

Give me the best Offensive Tackle.

Whether its the Baylor kid or the Oher kid. Either one.

My next pick might be Orakpo... As much as I like Spencer, Orakpo is just a future bigtime player...

Wasn't even on our draft board I believe.

Oher hands down and going away. Harvin is a nice pick, and would be great, but Oher would address a major need for us. That's the guy I'd love to have.

Nor should he have been, IMO.

It's all butterflies and cotton candy in Minnesota right now, but let's wait and see if Harvin can stay out of trouble and not be suspended in the years to come.

It's not worth it to invest time in the guys with character issues.

Ciskowski feels strongly about this and I agree.

I agree somewhat.

It just depends on the information the Cowboys had. Im sure they had good info but if it was just some hear say than I would hope they wouldn't take him off the board.

But from all the hear say i've heard we made the right move by taking him off our board.

I also know Desean Jackson wasn't on our board and I ALWAYS see people complaining about us not drafting him but there was an obvious reason we didn't take him along with 31 other teams who had the chance.

Word is his own coaches @ Cal didn't even like him.

Am I the only one who would take Kenny Britt over Maclin?

So far I would agree with you that Britt looks better. Cowboys did like Maclin as the #2 WR in the draft after Crabtree. It normally takes wrs a year or two before you really know what you have.

Exactly. I will never question the Cowboys for taking a character risk off their draft board.

No, seriously, I would go with Crabtree.

I don't think there is a rookie out there that would help for RIGHT NOW more than Jairus Byrd and his 8 interceptions vs the 7 we have as a team.

for me it was between Byrd and Cushing, but over the next 10-15 years Cushing will be more of an asset then Byrd.
