If you could have one game go your way this week?

LIving in VA, and being a Dallas fan since 1967, there would be no greater joy than to see:

Houston Texans 3
Washington Commanders 0

:laugh2:

How about

Texans 2
Deadskins 0

Only way they could score is on D.

I've seen their D.

What you suggest is impossible.

49ers over the Eagles.

The birds have the weakest schedule and a loss to the 49ers would be great after the choke last week.

Ideally, I would like to see Philly get knocked off by San Fran.

That is not going to happen. Eagles will blow them out.

Giants in Seattle will be the most likely NFC East team to lose. However, the Giants, like Dallas last year as well, outplayed Seattle on their own turf. I do think the Hawks are paper tigers, but will eek this one out at home.

I still think the Commanders are just much better than the Texans and should beat them going away.

You haven't listened to 610 WIP after an Eagles' loss, it is just as enjoyable.

The Commanders are done. They're horrible. Yeah, I will be rooting against them, but win or lose this week they will not be in contention in December. In fact, you could make the case that should the Texans win, Brunell could get yanked and our division rivals would play them with a green QB.

For the Eagles, however, the loss could be devastating. They need to start 6-2 with their easy beginning schedule in order to weather the second half. If they lose two straight, and one to the Niners, it could be the beginning of the end. On the other hand, a win against the Niners and Packers and they are 3-1 coming into our game.
You know, I wish I was more internet savy. I would tune into that radio station after an Eagles loss. Especially against the Cowboys.

You don't have to be internet savy, it is as easy as finding this site. Go to www.610WIP.com, and click on the click to listen thing on the left. Easy as pie.....:)

Thanks. I would imagine that same type of format would work for most radio and tv stations.

What do you mean? There are some on the internet, if that is your question.

i'd rather work on the truck, Neither of my teams that i follow (boys first , ravens second) play, so this week will seem like a baseball game...long and boring

This early, I gotta go with the gut instinct and say 'Washington".

In december, it culd be different. But any chance of humiliating Washington, I gotta take it. Losing to the Toxins would be a bad thing, especially if they dont score an offensive TD. They could find themselves in a real hole and no ladder to climb out.

For division standing purposes, gambling aside.

It would be great if Washington lost to Houston to officially eliminate them

The Giants have a tough schedule, so if they somehow won @ Seattle it may not matter in the end

With Phillys schedule, they have a lot of cupcake teams. Losing to SF would be huge. I think if I could have my choice I would want them to lose this weekend the most

Commanders do not worry me at all. So I don't really care if they win or lose this weekend.

Eagles worry me a little bit because they seem to be clicking on offense, and their D looked tough against the lowly Texans. The Giants shredded that D in the 4th quarter last Sunday, and now they are missing Jevon Curse. Not to mention that Stallworth missed practice on Friday with a hamstring injury (ahhh...the curse of TO strikes McChunky).

I think the Eagles stand a good chance of losing this weekend.

The Giants worry me the most. Eli continues to throw ducks, but Plexiglass seems to be catching them. Giants are also riddled with injuries, and they are facing the NFC champs of yesteryear.

I have to say that more than any other game, I hope the Giants lose to the Seahawks. Philly and Washington do not really look that tough this year.

No need to waste a "wish" on a Commanders loss, especially the way they're playing. Likewise with the Giants vs. Seahawks.

I'd go for an Eagles loss to the 49ers.
