Ok its pretty darn clear we are in bad shape on Offense. We have some cap room. Who could we trade for that could help this team this year? Is there a TE OL WR
Will it be futile to trade for anyone as long as Linehan is at the helm?
Can we fix something if they the Mgmt dont think its broke?
IMO i say ride it out for the season. Hope for a House cleaning and bring in a new philosophy.
Were not getting rid of the Jones so thats not an option

It's the wrong mindset. You're trying to salvage the season to feel better about it. Let's win 8 or 9 instead of 5 or 6. Who cares? That doesn't help you in the long run. It hurts you, in fact. It's counterproductive.

If you really want to help this team, ride this out and hope for the worst. We need a cleansing and real change. The more we lose this season the better the odds we get that change and of course the more draft capital we'll have.

3 down, 13 more to go. I've been through the last 22 years after witnessing a dynasty. I can deal with this too.

Jourdan Lewis and our 2020 4th for Patrick Mahones and Tyreek Hill.

JK-We need a TE worth anything. I'd be looking at TE talent from an 0 and 3 team. No names come to mind atm.

We should be churning the TE position all season until we find something better than this. I don't think it would be hard to do.

Instead we just sit there content. Because this team doesn't have talent evaluators. They are still flabbergasted this current group isn't working.

IMO You have to make sure anyone you receive in a trade can play for your team for at least 3-5 years at a good level. No 30 something year old receivers who may be slowing down.

Sort of what the Rams did with Cooks. Paid a price in a draft pick/contract but they got a receiver in his prime. TBD however how well he pans out.

Now, playoff teams aren't sellers and very few teams are willing to give up younger talent even at 0-3/1-2 etc.

Stick with this team, even if it means winning a few more games. Get a higher draft pick and rebuild, again.

I agree. We need a purging. No need to root for us to lose either-- this offense is historically bad, they are not able to compete consistently at the professional level. The defense will get worn down eventually. I think 4-12, 5-11 feels realistic with a ceiling of 7-8 wins if somehow the offensive coaches pull a horseshoe out of their butts.

There is no one player to trade for that will right the ship.

Jerry has spent over two decades trying to prove that it was him that put together those SB teams and not Jimmy, what he doesn't realize is that each year that goes by he further proves himself wrong.

Give me a pro bowl center.

I used to be the biggest rose colored shades guy every week. But I am now reduced to being 100% investing in the underlined theory.

If we lose to Det and the offense looks anemic in doing so, pull the trigger on Linehan. Let somebody else call the plays the rest of the season and see what happens.
If we lose to Det we're probably staring down a 1-5 (2-4 at best) finish to the bye

nobody this year let us fall flat

fire coaches

get a real QB

To be honest, if you get a real staff in here, I think you could probably win with Dak. Seriously, the problem with this Offense, at least to me, is that you are trying to remold Dak into a QB he is not and probably never will be. Dak has strengths but they are not suited to the style of Offense we are trying to run right now.

That's just my opinion.

If I could make one trade for this offense it'd be to trade Dak for a conditional 3rd to some franchise who thinks that we're the problem and not Dak himself.

The offense wouldn't improve in the short run much if at all but we'd receive an asset and likely improve the offense in the long run.
