From what I've been watching on NFL Rewind (pretty good deal for $40.00) if you loved the wide open attack that we saw against Denver, that's the norm with Linehan.
He LOVES the empty sets and is very creative with how he gets his backs involved in the passing game.
For those that say it's still Garretts offense, the sets are very similar if not identical. Also remember that Linehan chose Dallas over what is considered to be the best run organization in the NFL in the Ravens. Linehan wouldn't come here if he wasn't promised some authority in what's run, especially considering the uncertainty of the staff's status after this year.
He also has showed a propensity for running the ball when up with under 6 minutes to go. Where as Garrett struggled at times in trying to straddle the fence in being balanced, even in the routes, Linehan doesn't seem to have an identity crisis. His offense will attack, attack, attack. If the OL gives Romo time, and doesn't commit penalties, it will be fun to watch.
The one concern I have is with all the empty sets if Doug Free or Bernardeau struggle in pass protection, Romo won't last long. That's why I'd be in favor of an OL at 16/17 if and ONLY if he's the BPA there.
