The name-calling and personal insults have gotten so bad here lately due to people lacking the factual intelligence to argue their opinions that it is now time that we put a stop to it.
We used to be a forum of Cowboys fans who supported each other and when we disagreed we did so with respect and facts, stats, and other information.
Now, too many members resort to childish name-calling, middle-school level insults or worse, and for what reason?
What does it matter that someone disagrees with you?
No matter how much fans think they matter, Jerry and the Jones family do not listen to nor care what any of us think, so if someone loves a player or someone hates a player it will have no impact on the team's decision making progress.
All we fans have are each other and we seem to treat each other worse than we do fans of other teams. It's ridiculous and disappointing.
Going forward, if you personally insult another member you can expect your account to be suspended 7 to 30 days. If you continue doing it, the suspension will be 30 to 90 days every time.
I did not put this site online for people to bring the toxicity you see everywhere on the internet here. If you want those kind of discussions then by all means visit the endless sites on the internet who love the traffic that comes from those types of posts and hate.
No one expects people to agree on everything and many of us enjoy good debates, but the personal insults and attacks are going to stop or we are going to start removing those who are incapable of debating without them.
To be clear, people can like or dislike any player or person associated with the Dallas Cowboys, but just because another member disagrees with you does not mean they are unwelcome here nor does it mean you can insult them repeatedly trying to get them to stop posting.
We are all Cowboys fans and while we may disagree with how to fix 28+ years of failed seasons, we have no control over what the Cowboys do.
Everyone needs to remember we all want the same thing .. Super Bowl wins. Just because we all have different opinions on how to make that happen does not change that.
