You have a 2nd year QB and just traded for DeMarco Murray.

I would use all 8 picks on the OL and defensive front 7. I would draft Tunsil with the first pick. I would grab C Nick Martin in the 3rd. In the 4th - 6th I grab either OG Drango or Dahl. On defense I take 2 DE, 1 DT, and 2 LB.

Then, I use my OL and Murray to own the ball and keep the D fresh.

The Titans are fools if they do not trade down and instead take Tunsil #1 and pay him the #1 money. They could trade down with SF, Philly, or even Dallas and still get a tackle in Stanley at a lesser price, plus a boat load of pics to build the club. They should not try to extract a RG3 trade, but simply take the best deal available. If I were Tennessee, I would try to get Wentz out of the AFC.

The Titans have 4 very good, very young, starting O-lineman.
Taylor Lewan, 23, LT
Jeremiah Poutasi, 21,RT
Brian Schwenke, 25, C
Chance Warmack, 24, G

Pretty loaded. They could add Tunsil, maybe, and sent Poutasi inside. But really, they may end up trading down...really loading up...or taking Ramsey.

good point but they didnt play upto par last year(even Lewan who was up and down).you got to take a chance to build a dominant Oline especially when you a Franchise QB in his 2nd year.

They will probably have no choice to use the first overall pick.
And if they do it will be Tunsil or possibly Ramsey.

I think they go tunsil, but my move would be to trade down. If I didn't get a good enough offer I would even consider taking Wentz #1

how many hits did Mariota take last year? sacks

Oh, I think they had issues,
I was just saying that they don't need to spend their whole draft on the oline like was said earlier.
They have at least three starters that almost any team would love to have. Lewan may belong at RT though. That would leave open the Tunsil pick.

I would swap picks with the Cowboys free of charge on the condition that we take it easy on them the next time play (scout's honor).

Hah! A DeMarco Murray thread in disguise. And I didn't even see it coming. I'm slipping.

If I'm the Titans, I take BPA with every pick (except if it's QB, where I'd try to trade down).

Of course, that's what I do no matter what team I am (the QB caveat depends on the team).

Also: did you see Murray last year? I get that it wasn't a great situation for him, but I'm amazed how so many people are willing to give him a complete mulligan on last year and assume he's the same guy he was in '14. One of the main let-Murray-go arguments was that he was massively overworked in '14 and would very likely never be the same guy again. Well, he was awful in '15, and yeah, there were other issues, but he also looked slow and worn down. And now he's 2 years older than he was in '14. The last thing I would be doing is hitching my wagon to Murray, without a serious back-up plan.

One you get in that top 5 range, the value of the picks starts going up so radically that I think most teams not fixated on a specific prospect will at least entertain the thought of a slight trade-down. Doesn't mean they would do it, but most do at least look into it.
The haul can be just so incredible way up there. We're talking extra 2nd and/or future 1st without really risking much.
Now if you a hard target, like both TB and Tenn did last year, you don't really consider all that much.

This year, Tenn for sure will be considering it....especially with another very, very good OT also ranked in the top 8-10 overall.

I think this is what they will want to do. They probably can, if they discount the pick enough.

Yes, they catch a break with two top flight OTs in the top 10 range.

They are not trading down IMO and they will go with Tunsil.

I agree...............the Titans GM already said that the RG3 trade set the market and any team wanting to trade up for a QB has to pay market value.

For reference, Chippy offered the Titans 3 first round picks last year for Marriotta and the Titans gave Chippy the bird.

If you want to dance with Tennessee, you better be prepared to pay a king's ransom.

If I'm the Titans I'm looking to trade with Dallas and still get my guy at 4.

There are some good Day 2 offensive linemen out there too. Nick Martin, like you said, Max Tuerk, etc.

I like your thinking however if I was the Titans, I may be concerned about Tunsil still being there at #4. If we were to trade up to #1 for Wentz, I would guess the next two picks would be Ramsey and Tunsil. The question is the order. It is conceivable that Cleveland takes Tunsil at #2.
