Earl Thomas period

I would upgrade Safety first to make the Defense complete. Then the Tight End. The TEs we have are cold garbage..unless Rico just suddenly gets it. Otherwise that crew is the worst in the league probably..

Why would say "safety depth" when we don't even have one legitimate starting safety on the team?

Having a tight end like a Travis Kelce or a Zach Ertz would help the passing game sooooooo much.

I misunderstood. Obviously ertz and Kelce aren’t ever going to be available.

It’s hard. I think we have bad tight ends. But I think Earl Thomas could make this defense elite.

ET for sure and I think there is a pretty good chance is still happens and for a price we like.

Our TEs are young and will get better as the season goes on. They would have two touchdowns (or more) but for bad passes from Dak. The only bad pass Prescott made in this game was overthrowing Rico in the end zone when he was wide open.

That play was pretty impressive except for the throw, Rico bodied the defender off and the guy fell to the ground. He was open by several yards in the end zone, which is hard to do.

Yeah, Swaim is a placeholder who shouldn't be starting. Jarwin and Schultz will be players in time, but it may not be this season. This may be like the year where DMC started at RB and we have OK players holding down the fort because we got them cheap.
