If Romo misses open receivers and our backs continually fail in pass protection then sure the Giants have a chance but honestly I think out of the bye we are going to be on a mission to destroy any and all opposition.

I kind of feel that way, too. That we're going to come out focussed here for a run. I think we beat the Giants fairly handily if we don't turn the ball over. Then that first Eagles game will tell us everything we need to know about our trajectory. That's going to be one of those games where it's a heavyweight slugfest the first quarter or so, and then one of the teams gradually breaks the other and establishes itself. The winner gets pole-postion in the East for the last quarter of the season. If we get beat, then I'm going to grip every single game from there on out. If we win it, I think the team starts believing in itself and gets in good position for a post season run...finally.

Yeah these next two games set the tone. I know from press conferences and the like that the team is putting a lot of focuson taking advantage of the bye and coming out for this stretch run. If they are able to accomplish what they are trying to do these games I agree wholeheartedly that we will have a good gauge on the team. The rubber is meeting the road so let's see if there is traction.

Damn! What Eye opener on our objective to reaching our goal the Super Bowl , we can't give any mercy to any teams in our division, they've all beat us or knocked us out of the payoffs before. We have to put the pedal to the metal and run straight thru and over all these teams, when we are able to, and playing at our best! Go Cowboys!

Yep...watched this on Giants.com...but Dallas has won 4 of the last 5 iirc, so they have been successful lately. Sunday is an opportunity to facilitate the cleaning out of the lockers and a focus on next year. It would take a spectacular collapse by both Kelly and Garrett to hand over the division to NY at the end of the season. Both coaches should then be fired on the spot for letting it happen. Pierre-Paul and Rolle still believe in miracles but the Giants have just lost too much talent in too many places.

just from a health standpoint..

we are so much better than they are.

Meaning our guys that are rotating into the game should start to make a difference.

Guys like Lawrence and Josh taking some snaps over the stretch and guys like Melton and Spencer..

Coming back from injury..

we should prevail..

baring another serious injury like to any of the big 3 (Bryant-Murray-Romo)
