But we already knew that.....

So I've been trolling on BGN since yesterday, reading the articles, comments, etc. It's hilarious.

Well today Chippy held a press conference saying Bradford is their QB and Mariotta won't be picked due to mortgaging the future for him.

Reading the comments, now Iggles fans are behind Chip and Bradford is going to be a stud.

This is ridiculous. They went from wanting to lynch Kelly and Bradford sucks at 7pm last night to loving him again at 2pm today.

Hilarious.

I would wager that most iggles fans are still in the "anger" stage, but yeah I suppose some of the brainwashed ones have reached acceptance

I have a friend who's a brainwashed diehard Eagles fan too.

He buys into whatever they do, and whatever they don't.

His line was 'they can't win more than 10 games doing it this way, so why not change it?'

Some fans believe that it's their duty to buy everything their team sells them - hook, line, and sinker...

Squiggles fans never leave the "Anger" stage, though. It is where being an Eagles fan begins and ends.

Sheagles fan head in the sand, while their coach has his head somewhere else. Or at least is in over his head as a GM. Coaching kids in two years.

Bradford is one knee injury away from being done and after watching how he injured his knee the last time, I wouldn't have given a 7th round pick for him.

Exactly. And their O line is not going to give him more than a few seconds to throw. And their best WR left town.
So teams will sit on the under routes and make Bradford hold ball too long.
What we should be doing is looking at the schedule to slot a game when the opponents pass rush get's to him.
What get's me is Foles played well in the system. Granted he was not a runner for the most part and that offense could use a QB who could run in selective spots.
What was he 20 - 6 when on the field??? Sanchez will run a bit more but his QB skill to read and throw went way down after he was popped a few times.
Now. They have turned the bus over to Bradfore at QB, granted skill set is there, who is a statue. Did not put up numbers even close to Foles.
Is not going to run. Can't get away from pass rush.
Am I missing something here????

Bradford will look okay to good for about 3 weeks.

Then he'll be injured again.

As will Ryan Matthews or Demarco Murray. Whichever one they wind up with.

I think you hit the nail on the head.

Nobody knows what in the world Chip Kelly is doing in Philadelphia. Not even his own players and the fanbase have a clue as to what his plan is because it certainly doesn't make sense.

I'm not a professional football coach, nor am I a professional general manager or talent scout, but the moves he has made just doesn't pass the smell test if that makes sense.....lol.

As I said before, let the Eagle's spend over 13 million bucks a year on two injury prone running backs. We all know that the chances of Bradford, Mathews and Murray all holding up over a season is almost zero and although I wish we would have signed one of our free agent linebackers by now I can't fault what our front office is doing.

Building your team through the draft and signing free agents at cap friendly deals is the way to do it.

Hmmmmm.... The way Andy Reid used to do it till the wheels fell off.
And the type of skill player they were bringing in.

Andy Reid stayed pretty consistent with his personnel at the QB and Running Back positions there for awhile. Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook won a lot of ballgames. Of course, Chip Kelly hasn't been in the league long at all, but the moves he has made in the last month is head scratching.
