ILB in the draft

I sure am glad the Boys are semi-set with Sean Lee, Bruce Carter and Dan Connor, because there's not much to like in the draft at ILB... there's no need to reach for a marginal talent in the first 3 rounds...

In the 4th round, the Boys could use one of their picks on James-Michael Johnson from Nevada... even that might be a little too early, though...

In the 7th round, they could look at Jerry Franklin from Arkansas or a sleeper, Korey Toomer from Idaho... if I didn't have my heart set on drafting a big NT in the 7th, I'd surely be in favor of drafting either of these kids...

I don't even see much that interests me in the group of likely undrafted rookie free agent ILBs... this is a lousy year for that position...

I'd have to think hard about Kuechly if he dropped to #14. But yeah, other than him, the value just isn't there at the ILB position in round one.
