Just read this on Fox sports about Michael Clayton from Tampa. I never even thought about him. He's had some bad years since his rookie year, but also some bad quarterbacks! A change of scenary does a lot of people good...just look at Leonard Davis.

This guy could be our Alvin Harper.

I would like him. Has enough speed to stretch the field also (4.45).

I wouldn't mind giving them a 5th

Interesting, but he's really been bad the past few years. It's made me wonder what's going on with him.

Have you ever considered crappy quarterback play??? (with the exception of Garcia last year)

Simms, Gartkowski, and the list is longer then the cowboys pre-Romo...I can't even remember how many!!!

In fact Brad Johnson played with this kid for 4 games his rookie year...his best year.

Crappy QB play hasn't prevented Galloway, Hilliard, or Alex Smith from getting things done.

Not saying I wouldn't mind throwing a low round pick for the guy but lets not give the guy a free pass for underperforming for the last few years.

So the QB play excuse was removed last year and he still was a non factor. You've defeated your own argument.

Clayton is basically Quincy Morgan. Whip up the hype machine and prepare for a letdown.

No free pass given....just a thought on getting a decent young receiver in here. We are another injury away at receiver to running the freakin wishbone!

How was that Leonard Davis guy in Zona?

How about that Moss guy in Oakland??

You simply never know what will happen when a change takes place...especially playing with a great young qb!

I think that's a decent option, depending on the compensation the Bucs are looking for.

then wouldn't that go back to his best year being under a crappy qb? he was a one hit wonder so far and people hold onto that. he's a familiar name we can wrap ourselves in and people will. he's no better than what we have, he's just not here so he needs to be. who we lose who knows but we need a WR. any warm one will do.

jack meehoff got released from the AFL mississippi masterbeaters - let's bring him in while we're at it.

If Stash is for him, I would check into local rehabs to see if his name pops up... or police wires ;)

and i can name a few dozen changes that came up empty. like when harper went to tampa.

reeves to houston.

bryant to almost any team that will have him.

henson back again somewhere.

unless we can significantly improve the position, all the fun names we know and love are useless at this point but yet, it's all points to argue about.

back out now.

Clayton still lives off his rookie season and draft pedigree. He runs a 4.57 and drops easy catches. That said, from the sounds of things he's had a good camp and preseason, so if he came cheap I wouldn't be opposed to a young experienced WR.

Harper lost a hall of fame qb

Reeves sucks know matter where he plays

Bryant still has talent (in fact that's why they are thinking of trading Clayton) Plus Bryant is a greatness when he threw that towel in Parcells face!!! lol

Henson??????? Do you mean the muppet creator????

And how is that not an upgrade over Hurd, Amendola, Jefferson, Austin??? These guys have done NOTHING!

How about that Mike Williams guy? Stuck on a crappy team with crappy QBs, surely a change of scenery or two or three would do him good.... right? Oh wait, nevermind.

Mike Williams sounds a lot better than Mike Jefferson!
