ill go on record right now:

do u guys remember that week when BP setup those mouse traps in the lockerroom? i can see that happening this week to the Commanders, this is a perfect trap game for them. the Commanders feel like they just won the championship after this big win over us, ill predict right now the Giants go to FedEX this weekend and roll them. Book IT!

PS: we still have a tough task this week, but its possible we beat the Panthers.

***? Playing the division leaders is not a trap game. The Commanders were thinking about the Giants game before halftime Sunday.

..the team has to be bad for it to be a trap game. I can see the Skins vs Eagles to be a trap, almost. The Eagles have been playing decently.

I can also see our game against the Rams to be a trap if we beat the Panthers.

No team playing the Giants would consider it to be a trap game.

You better worry about the Panthers. I don't see how you'll cover Steve Smith.
As far as your other comments, yeah I'm sure in all likelihood, we'll take the 10-4 Giants very lightly. Just because they embarassed us earlier this year like you were on Sunday and we still have a reasonable chance of earning a Playoff spot, I'm sure the 'Skins will come out flat. No way in hell will this happen. Not this time. Gibbs will have them fired up. The Giants are not as good on the road this year. FedEx will once again make Eli's day a nightmare. Eli's first game here last year was a Commander 31-7 win.
The Giants defense had a lot of injuries, but Tiki only ran 15 times for 38 yards. We'll see. I know the 'Skins will show up this time. You watch.

you're seeing a bitter/hopeful fan, skinterp. thankfully not too many of those come out and dream the unrealistic dream. like someone else said, ya'll whipped us so hard ya'll were preppin for the giants at the 1/2 - no need to worry about us by then. : )

I don't think the Skins will be overconfident for the Giants game. I think they've learned their lesson from their overinflated win over the 49ers earlier in the season, and guess which team busted their proverbial bubble the following week...? You guessed it...New York.

Yeah, I suppose you're right. Frankly, I'm sort of hopeful too. Thanks for the voice of reason. I wish you guys a healthy remainder of the season.

There is no way the Giants will win Saturday. Manning is overrated and gets exposed on the road plus Coughlin is a choker.

The Cowboys are done for 2005 and wishing for playoff scenarios is pointless.

let me re-phrase my original post, instead of terming it as a trap game, i just see the Commanders coming out flat, big win over the Boys etc etc, for those that say the Giants are awful on the road, they shouldve beat the Seahawks on the raod, last i checked they are 12-2.

that is an interesting opinion. i disagree, however, this theory isn't far fetched. although we're gonna be hit by injuries this week, the gints will miss Antonio Pierce. i think we can scrape off a win, but i can also see us lose 28-13

Im not sure at this juncture of the season any playoff contender worries about "trap games". Most are in a "lose and you go home" situation.

Please, Gibbs is notorious for not overlooking games. He'll play the Colts and the Texans with the same intensity. Whoever wants this game more this week wins. It's simple. The level of talent between the Boys, Skins and Gmen. It's whoever wants it more and as Coach Gibbs says, whoever "Fights their guts out". Unless they have another owner die this week, I think we can play with more emotion and hunger.

the giants are not nearly as good on the road as they are at home. in fact, they have a losing record on the road and have only beaten the niners and- barely - the banged up eagles 2 weeks ago. manning is playing poorly and tiki cant score on the road.

the skins will be happy to see them after being drubbed 36-0.
