Liuget follows linebacker Martez Wilson, who announced his decision on Monday, and running back Mikel Leshoure, who held a news conference on Tuesday morning.
Liuget, who was named second-team all-Big Ten, is projected to be selected as high as a lower first-round pick in the draft.
He finished with a team-high 12 1/2 tackles for loss as part of 63 tackles on the season. Liuget also recorded 4 1/2 sacks for 27 yards.
Illinois will need to find ways to replace the three star players, who helped lead Illinois to a 7-6 record with a victory in the Texas Bowl.
