Our pro day is tomorrow. A couple guys who will be drafted

OG/C Kendrick Green. 4 star recruit as a DT. Converted to OL his redshirt freshman year. All-Conference this pass season in a conference known for good OL. Squats 700lbs. Better run blocker than pass protector. That can improve as he has been an OL for just 3 years. I see him anywhere from late 3rd to 5th round.

WR Josh Imatorbhebhe. I really think this guy can be good at the NFL level. Had a 47.1 inch vertical out of HS. Went to USC and transferred here a couple years ago. Had a great year 2 seasons ago. This past year was a train wreck for the Illini. Covid took its tole on the QB position. Played one game with our 4th stringer. He is 6'2" 220. Trains with DK Metcalf. Actually plays a lot like him.

Been hearing a lot of good things about Kendick Green.

Josh and his brother were(are?) intriguing weapons. Big USC fan so I kept hoping that he'd turn the corner and fulfil his potential. He only played in 7 games over three years at USC. Looks like he missed 4 more games over his two years in Champaign.

Day 2 talent, injuries make him a late Day 3 or possible UDFA. If he stays healthy, he'll be a steal for someone.

Real good numbers

Kendrick Green ran a 4.8

Josh Imatorhebbe ran a 4.4

Milo Eifler ran a 4.5

Nate Hobbs ran almost 4.3 . Hobbs ran 4.40

Eifler’s solid . No weakness in his game. IMO, better than Damien Wilson was when we took him out of Minny.

Hobbs will tackle at the CB position. Was not a high profile recruit but did well for us. His tackling ability makes him a good special teams guy. With Lovie Smith at Houston I see them taking him late or UDFA there.

Eifler was high recruit that started at University of Washington. I like him too, but wonder if he would start out on a practice squad at first. He does have a ceiling as a roster LB for someone.
