Well, and that's why I'm so gutted. Plus, with all the Hurts talk, this could have been the game where we finally saw Hurts and Dak at their best playing for a SB. How fun would that have been? It'd have been a chance to determine MVP, and we could have had a really good match against them. Instead, I think we missed out on a classic that would've gone into football history as one of the greatest games of all time.
Well Rusty , add this to the list of things that could have been and move on!

It's all speculation on what might have happened. What we've seen though? Since his ankle injury, Dak chokes when it matters most...so it's likely the Eagles would have beaten us in a similar way that the 49ers did.

Without Pollard we would have gotten our arse kicked.

Injuries. Never underestimate the impact of injuries even on the best teams. Personally, I thought the 49ers were overrated. But losing Purdy was a huge setback for them. Whoever thought a TE was going to block Reddick should be fired. It cost them their QB. Then when their only other QB went down with a concussion the game was over. The 49ers were down 3 TDs and were running the football exclusively in the 4th quarter!

The Cowboys were missing Steele, Brown, and Lewis for the 49ers game. Then they lost Pollard in the 2Q. I think that made a huge difference. The Eagles are healthy. They got Lane Johnson back, and all their other starters were playing on both sides of the ball. The healthiest teams usually win in January and February. The Eagles lost their LG today but I think he will be back next week.

No way would we have hung in with Philly, especially without our best playmaker Pollard. I’m convinced they would’ve won by 2+ scores. Dak would’ve turned the ball over against that Philly pass rush. Fans can come on here shooting their mouths off, saying the Cowboys would’ve won. What do you expect? Lol Philly proved they’re the better team and will likely win the Super Bowl. They only lost one game all season with Jalen Hurts. This is by far the best Eagles team I’ve seen.

I totally agree! Besides, I said all season Philly would end up in the Super Bowl. A lot of Cowboys fans are having a tough time coming to grips with how good they are. They’ve been the most complete, consistent team all season. Not many teams have won 17 games in a season including the playoffs.

After watching the NFC Championship, I'm rather gutted. I don't know if we'd have beaten Philly, but I definitely think that we would have given them a better fight. For as much as this forum rips on Dak, he's usually money against Philly. He knows their defence better than pretty much anyone else. He usually has their number. Our team would've matched up really well against Philly imo. I know some of you are going to think that I'm mental for saying this, but I genuinely think that, had we beaten SFO, we would be going to the Super Bowl. I think we were a better team than SFO, and the stuff that SFO was getting beaten on were things that we shut down on Christmas Eve when we last played them. What could have been?
Maybe we beat Philly or maybe we dont, all hypothetical at this point.

Look on the bright side my friend, at least we got rid of Moore, that is worth a playoff win by itself:thumbup:

It starts with not securing the #1 seed. The offense failed to execute in the 4th quarter against the Packers and Jags. That goes back to Prescott not being good enough at QB when it actually mattered.

Exactly! Even had Dallas had gotten home game we have seen how that plays out. The biggest factor is what can you get out of Prescott and it has been ugly. This idea that Prescott would of beaten the Eagles is ridiculous. Maybe in the regular season but not in the playoffs.

The Cowboys just about beat the Eagles with Minshew at QB and it was a game that the Eagles didn't really have to win. When the Cowboys had to beat the Eagles Prescott played like Brian Hoyer and Carson Wentz got it done throwing to deck chairs
