Overpaying someone’s greed?
The dude is the backbone to our team. It’s almost criminal that Dak will earn more money than Zeke considering who our offense revolves around
Zeke should not feel sorry for the Dallas Cowboys considering their goal is to use his value up and throw him to the curve after his rookie contract. What he’s actually doing right now is very smart because he still has value, is the most important part to our offense and our team needs him given the expectations for this team this year
Yes. Frankly, yes. The salary cap means there's not unlimited money to be spent. Paying Zeke more means paying others less. Plus, and more importantly, he still has two years left on his contract. I have some crazy, old-fashioned ideas that say if you've signed a 5-year deal, you honor that 5-year deal. Not honoring it should never be an option, except for uncontrollable circumstances such as illness, injury, or death. If you can play, you should honor whatever deal you signed. If he didn't want to do that, he shouldn't have signed a 5-year deal. The league should have a rule that says any able-bodied player who does not honor his contract should be permanently kicked out of the league. I'm sick of these holdouts.
Did I call Zeke greedy? Damn right I did. Did I have the audacity to say he should be kicked out of the league? Yup. I know that doesn't fit with the current PC crap that passes for today's values, and I don't care. I call it like I see it. You honor your bleepin' contract. End of story. If you don't, you can go play in Canada and see how much you can make there.
