The Arizona game was the key, we didn’t beat a bad team with good coaching, why we would beat a good team with elite coaching?

I thought it was a case of us playing down to competition and thought they could win just by turning up. So, I was willing to give that game a pass. Especially since we completely eviscerated the Patriots the next game. Unfortunately, that may have been more of the story of this team than our 3 wins.

I'm absolutely disgusted with this loss. Everyone on this team, aside from Aubrey, should hang their heads in shame. This includes Jerry Jones, who is probably comforting himself in the millions of dollars he made from this game.

Shame on the entire team for coming out the way they did against one of the most historic rivals of the Cowboys. It's embarrassing that the Cowboys now are behind the 49ers in the all time series. This is a team that I, and I'm sure many of you, have a strong dislike for considering the history that we have. I understand that the 49ers might not lose a game this season. However, the effort this game was PATHETIC!! This was a team that's supposed to be a heavy weight built for battling SFO. Instead, they some how managed to disgrace themselves on national television in front of a primetime audience. I can't even point the finger to a single player or coach for this debacle (though, I do point a finger at Jerry, but that's a different line in this thread). It was the entire team that disgraced themselves. Even worse, we might have just lost LVE for a while. The Cowboys looked a complete joke, and the 49ers are a complete class above us, which hurts me to say to my core.

I'll start with Jerry. Just what did you think this team could do? Yes, it beat some poor teams this year. Brilliant! It did that last year. Just maybe with a bit more style. This schedule is much tougher than last year. Jerry needs to do something to fill some obvious holes. Unfortunately, we were without Diggs, and it appears Bland might have gotten injured. So, if this season is worth saving, then another CB might be needed. If not, then sort something out with Dak. Also, the RB room is pathetic! Pollard and a few first years/rookie UDFAs are not enough of a running game to beat SFO. I know Zeke wasn't the answer anymore, but did we really think we couldn't win without a back that can handle tough yards? We need a short yard back and a reliable back.

I love the person that Dak is. I absolutely do. I don't entirely blame him for this loss. However, his pass to Gibson and the third interception were his fault. The second one was on Gallup, and I will get to that. He didn't really have much time, so I'll give him that, but some of the throws were really pathetic.

Gallup! And our WRs in general! That was an absolute disgrace. As for Gallup, I was worried when the tipped interceptions would start happening like they did last year. I'm sick of seeing our TEs and WRs having well thrown balls glance off their hands and end up intercepted. Absolutely disgraceful that they can't even catch the ball with what they do for a living. We've had this issue for a while, and Jerry still hasn't fixed it. Get a WR coach who can teach them the basics of their bloody job.

Dan Quinn and the Defence. Yes, you're a brilliant side for the most part. This game and the Cardinals game were pathetic. The penalties were pathetic. The yards conceded were a disgrace. Absolutely awful. Does losing Diggs really mean that much to this team? And now with LVE out, that might make things really that much more difficult.

McCarthy, I've stuck up for you. I have given you time. This was pathetic. I credited McCarthy when he does well, and I critique when he is poor. This was a disgrace. Jason Garrett could've had this game closer. Sort something out for this offense. Dak didn't have much time, and we are owned by the San Francisco 49ers. Absolutely embarrassing! We made Brock Purdy look like Steve Young. The gameplan was poor, the playcalling was awful, and this roster construction on offense is poor. Oh, and the WR coach is as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

Finally, to close out this rant before I go to sleep I'm absolutely disgusted with this team's prospects for this season. Something needs to be sorted out. I'm not even sure if this team will make the playoffs, with how the rest of our schedule looks. However, if we some how manage to make the playoffs, it's only going to result in us making a mockery of ourselves. Likely at the hands of the 49ers. To be honest, I didn't expect us to win. I just hoped we could look competitive against the 49ers so that I could feel that we have some hope against them in the playoffs. I pegged us at 4-2 at the bye. I wouldn't even write this if we looked somewhat competitive. However.....42-10? Absolute disgrace!!! And what does this coaching staff, may I ask, plan to do if we have the misfortune to play SFO (which will likely be in SFO) in the playoffs? Just roll up and die again? If that's the case, the Cowboys might be better off not even making the playoffs. But then, if that happens, what happens to Micah? Think he's going to want to stay for a possible rebuild (which might be needed on offense)? No, I don't think he does, so this team is treading on disaster if we try to get a better draft prospect. He wants Super Bowls. He might run off if we don't look competent. If that happens, it'll take ages for Jerry to try to replace him. I don't like this cycle. All I know is, this was a disgrace of a performance. I don't want to hear what any of the players or coaches have to say. They need to just fix it. Fix it or blow it up!
i will condense it. Dak sucks and McCarthy sucks. Period. That is all.

He's not bloody trying. If he was, we'd have a GM and a coach (well, we kind of do with DQ, but you know what I mean) who actually know how to do their bloody jobs. Instead, he's had a milk toast coach in Campo, acted like he cared with Parcells only to get his stadium, Phillips (who's notoriously a better coordinator than HC), a coach in training in Garrett, and now McCarthy. The sad thing is, I like McCarthy. He's the best coach we've had since Parcells. That said, his playcalling today was pathetic.
His offensive scheme is outdated and pathetic.
We need a fresh offensive approach.

I feel sorry for you youngins. I'm disappointed yes but it's not a big deal for me anymore.
Nothing will change. Not with this ownership. The sad part is, it looks like the Commanders will turn it around before we will with Danny boy out of the way.

Yep ,
We need to move on from Dak.

It absolutely hurts me to say it as I like Dak and it hurts me to say anything negative about our QB (and I stuck with Romo for his entire time), but I think it is time for us to find the QB of the future. It had to come at some point. But, how many more players need to end up fed up with Dak before a change is made? Micah was furious with him after the playoff game, and Lamb seems furious after this game. Maybe, in order to keep them, they might need something different at QB to show the team is at least trying something else to win a SB. Cuz whatever they're doing now with Dak isn't working. And now, it's clear that it's the QB that needs changing. I've stuck up for him time and time again. However, I can't after a game like this. Maybe if he has a game that really impresses me, I can. And I would like to. But, for now, I can't. I just can't. What's there to say that he did well?

I like dak as a person as well.
Not just as our long term QB.
This needs to be his last season.
He is not playing up to his contract.

And, as I said to another poster, I was onboard with signing him because he was a useful stopgap option while we built the defence, which I thought would take longer than it has, and while we waited for a suitable QB class in college to come of age. Well, the defence is built, and the 2024 QB class looks delicious with prospects. I'd be delighted with just about any of the prospects in the first or second round.
