Let´s hope so, it will be tough, Of course I´d love the win but actually what I am looking for, is for us to make a real game out of it, keep it close until the 4th quarter, if that happens then no matter the outcome we´ll know the Dallas Cowboys are for real.

Just don't get all bent out of shape, if things go south. Which most likely can happen vs this team, fast and badly.

I know most of the forum is optimistic, but if we lose, we might see panic threads, which would be ridiculous.

Yeah, this is the kind of thread that chicken little's bring back up to show that they had trusted this team and got let down... so they're never going to trust them again.

I'm not saying the OP is doing that... just that this is the type of thread that gets bumped back up after a loss.

This will be a very easy game for Dallas to lose... I mean, they should lose it. So no time for panic if the expected happens.

However, if they win, it will be time to get excited.

Funny, when Dallas is favored, they get no credit for a win and get skewered if they lose. They deserve the opposite of that when going into Seattle to play the World Champs.

I was nervous an didn't want to jinx us but we have hte great wall back to break Seattles will. They ain't seen a line like our s yet.

I agree that the Seahawks have yet to see an O-line as physical as Dallas', but we're going to have to be pretty much mistake free and execute. Converting 3rd downs will be critical for the Cowboys. Our defense is once again going to have to play with the intensity they showed against the Saints. Contain, and keep the ball in front of them.

The big 3 that I worry about the most on the Seahawks offense is Wilson, Lynch, and Harvin.

I picked Dallas for the upset. I just hope its a game and not a blowout and men vs boys like last time.

The problem is that the fanbase are putting expectations on this team because of the current 4-1 record that they probably shouldn't be doing at this point, because when/if the the Cowboys fail to live up to those expectations that the fanbase has set, then they crucify the team. I've seen many Cowboy fans already predicting a double digit win against Seattle, and putting this team as a top 5 team at this point is very premature. This team still has way too much to prove at this point.

Correct. Unrealistic expectations. That creates disappointment and resentment of the current team which will not deserve it for getting beat in Seattle.

It's truly an any given Sunday league. Anything can happen. Just 2 weeks ago a VERY large portion of our fanbase expected us to get smashed by the Saints. We all know what happened.

We can beat the Seahawks.

I agree, this team has surprised a lot of people. I don't expect Sunday to be any different.

As I continue to say, the Cowboys are not going undefeated the rest of the way and they're going to lose games. Even if the Cowboys lose this game badly, it shouldn't create a panic, it just means that they're not quite on Seattle's level at this point. These guys have only lost 1 game at home the past 3 years and that was a 1 point loss to a division rival. The fanbase is in such a hurry to proclaim this team as a great team and they're not there yet, this is what causes meltdowns when the Cowboys fail to win.

You're right... anything can happen.

However, the Seahawks in Seattle aren't the Saints in Dallas. Heck, the Saints in New Orleans aren't even the Saints in Dallas.

I think Dallas beat a pretty good team when they defeated New Orleans, but it is a much taller order to go up to Qwest Field and beat the Seahawks in that crazy *** stadium.

I wouldn't be too shocked if Dallas won because the Cowboys physicality gives them a chance, but I can certainly say that I'm not expecting it.

Well said. That should be plastered at the top of the forum.

I'm sure we will. And to be expected to some degree. But also be prepared for many of the "very negative" posters that have been conspicuosly absent the past 4 weeks.
I seen a few of them "liking" some of the negative things said, but haven't seen them posting....:)

If we lose but it's a competitve game, not sloppy, then I think it will be mostly as usual. Questions of concern an such, how do we fix it. If we get blown up, sloppy, bad game. Then it will be like a hurricane. Heck I may even blow up....LOL...

That's because they're getting their 1,500 word essay (negative post) ready. They have to focus in hard on that.

I'm sorry but I just don't see us winning this one. We'll have to be near perfect and I don't think our D can handle when Wison takes off on foot.

Love your optimism and also believe it is winnable. SEA is a great team but not perfect (limited on O) Dez can be moved around (away from Sherman if need be due to their scheme) and continue shortening the game with Murray (even if the ypa aren't as high). Hope for a couple of TOs and for our O to get hot (all aspects). This team still hasn't shown its passing potential as of yet and this may be the game we see a vintage moxie-type game from Romo (who is looking better every week).

I would have that blind site hit on Lee pictured and posted in the locker room all week for just a little extra fuel.
