I'm amazed we didn't draft a TE in the 3rd

Conceptualizing what a hindsight draft would have looked for me, it'd be difficult for me to draft a TE in the third and address both the safety and DT position to my satisfaction. That being said, I'd have preferred Dawson Knox to Connor McGovern, and I like Connor McGovern a lot.
The problem is after he went off the board, my interest in the position fell off a cliff. Kaden Smith went in the sixth and Dax Raymond went undrafted, but at that point I'm more willing to ride with the young guys in Jarwin and Schultz.
