I have about 70 pics to post, but since I'm new at this thing I screwed up last night trying to post them. It was a great time last night and I got to peek into the minds of several of our top players during the post-game interviews. I'll sum up whAt they said after I give my thoughts about the game.

Game thoughts- Its very hard to break down a game in person, because I get caught up in trying to watch the game. I was very disappointed in our DL, because I have seen first hand how bad the Saints line sucks. It could be because the Saints took lots of 3 step drops and ran quick routes, but I expected at leat 4 sacks from the 1st unit.

I wouldn't be surprised if BP turns back time and lets Bledsoe/Romo turn it loose this year. We passed blocked far better than we run blocked. Bledsoe scared me evrytime he dropped back along with the rest of the fans sitting with me. Romo just seemed so much more natural and comfortable back there. One very prominent reporter even thinks that Romo may start sometime this year. We talked for 20 minutes and he believes BP is getting Romo ready for a run this year. I won't name drop, but the guy was very candid saying this.

I hadn't heard of the suspension for Coleman, but did sit with him after the game and he seemed very calm about his role with the team. Saying Safety fets boring and he'd rather play CB. Athough he was willing to do what evr it took for the team. I hope things workout for him, because he was one of the guys that didn't talk to me like I was media, but rather like we were playing cards or something. Nice guy. More to come, but I have to check out of the hotel now. Back with more observations and thoughts from Spears, watkins, Boiman, James,, Canty, Ryan, Ellis,Tnew, Reeves, Bledsoe, Coleman, and Hatcher. Plus i'll post the pics if I can figure this thing out.

Nice post.

But you guys have to get out of this mind set that "sacks" are easy to get... please! They're not! Not in this day and age with the rules as relaxed as they are in pass-blocking and with DB's not being able to be as aggressive as past generations of DB's were.

If this team averages 2.5 sacks per game I'll be "giddy" because that will mean we had 40 over the course of the season and that's more than what we've had in a long, long time.

But to think any defense is going out there and nailing 4 sacks in a single half is well... sorta goofy. Especially from a defense that only averaged 2.3 sacks a year ago and we let go our 3rd best pass rusher.
