I think he skates... unless Cowher or someone else who is a big time coach expresses interest.
I think people have issue with Wade because he seemed to mail it in like Switzer did during his campaign. Shoot... at least Switzer talked more on his headset and looked like he was coaching during the game. Wade just looks like he is one of the spectators watching a game.
Perception isn't the problem though. It just looks like the Boys lacked discipline with so many penalties during the year. Yes, it wasn't all Wade's fault, but can you get on the OL coach for the penalties? Or the ST coach? Do something!!
And with what the players said, it was just a relaxed atmosphere. That's a good thing to a degree, but not if you are committing so many mental mistakes during the game. There needs to be accountability and I just feel like Wade is like your grandpa who just sits you on his knee and says... lets do better and that's that.
With Jimmy Johnson, you knew that if you screwed up, there was a chance you would be cut. He was a players coach, but don't screw up the team or you will be gone tomorrow.
And that's the level of respect as a coach you want on a team.

Wade gets another year and he should. Maybe this offseason he can obtain a few more defensive players better suited for his scheme.
I don't know if you can be Mr. Fix-It without taking a trip to the hardware store.
The defense improved this year, but it should really make a jump if we found upgrades for Reeves, Roy, Henry, and Spears.
Also, Anthony Spencer needs to be on the field. I know Ellis produced in limited action this year, but let his whiney butt walk and play the future.
WR must be addressed, hopefully in free-agency and draft as well.

I agree Satam, I wanted to throttle the guy watcing the PC last night. My problem with the fool is that he sems to be oblivious and satisfied with thirteen wins yet none in the playoffs. He just doesn't have any fire to speak of....none.

Anyone that wants to fire Wade is an idiot. Please stop this nonsense. Why is this Wades fault? How many tackles did he have on Sunday? How many dropped passes? Did he jump offsides? Did he throw the ball out of bounds? When is it the players fault? Please stop talking about Jimmy Johnson. He will never, ever, ever coach again. Time to move on. And for anyone that thinks Jimmy cut people left and right for screwing up they need to look again. Yeah he cut people but the ones he cut were spares. They were not stars. Curvin Richards, and John Roper. Give me a break those guys were terrible. Do you think for one second that Jimmy would have cut Ware for jumping offsides? What about Davis? No way. This is not Wades fault. Give it up. Just because Wade is a nice guy doesn't make him a loser or a bad coach. Tom Landry was probably the nicest soft spoken man in the world and he turned out to be a good coach. How dumb would it have been to fire him after his first year? Let Wade bring in some of his own players who actually fit his scheme before you kill the guy.

The difference between Wade and better coaches is that he trusts his assistants to do their job and is just an overseer. This team needs a fiery leader who will ensure that his assistants are doing their jobs before, during and after we take the field.
I don't think Wade is that guy and it will be evident next year.

If you had any clue about anything you would know that all coaches let their assistants coach. That is what they do. If they didn't why the hell would they be there? That is the job of a HEAD coach. To surround himself with good people. If you think screaming at players makes you a good coach you are wrong. Dungy doesn't scream, Landry didn't. This is just a stupid argument.
