I am really excited to finally have a real beast at fullback. This dude is experienced and an awesome lead blocker. He blocked for Jamal Lewis who ran for 1304 yards that year. He is a perfect Fullback for Garretts system. A moose type. This was a great pickup. We have seen what demarco can do with a half decent fullback, wait til he runs behind this guy. Could end up being a tag team for years to come.

Does anyone else see Arian Foster in Murray?

I hope Murray can turn out as good as a foster.

I'm not sure I'm ready to compare him to Arian but I think Murray is a hell of a lot better than people think he is. He is a smart, powerful, and extremely athletic.

He will be a huge part of this team next year and will take a big load off of Romo.

I'm also excited to see what Felix will be able to do with a real blocker (assuming he is still with the team once the season starts). He did very well with Fiammetta blocking for him considering the injuries.

I just hope our interior OL can help get us a yard or 2 more consistently this season.

I agree. I was bored yesterday, so I went back and looked at some of Murray's runs from last year. This guy's vision, strength and initial burst is incredible. That was apparent even on average runs.

Vickers was a great pick up. He has attitude and ability. When Murray is an all pro rb, Vickers will have had alot to do with it. One of the best FA we signed.

Just saying their running styles are similar. That's all

When I would see him run there's similar things they do alike

We will have a good 2 punch running back duo behind Vickers, great trio to have there just watch.

Murray running style of being too upright concerns me some. They tend to get beat-up early in their career and then just lose that burst. Felix really impressed late last year but I think this is his final year in Dallas. Some needs to emerge who can challenge Felix number 2 spot.

Stephen Jackson runs upright and he is pretty darn good.

Felix could splurge too. I hope we keep him. He is a threat everytime he touches the ball.

So does Foster
If Demarco is as good as Foster consistently that would be beautiful.

I'll be happy if Murray can be as good as Felix (and if both of them, and Vickers, can stay healthy). In games where they were both on the field:

Murray: 89-296-3.3
Felix: 90-413-4.6

Okay, I don't really believe Felix is better than DeMarco the way those numbers imply, but I do think that Felix is underrated and DeMarco is overrated around here.

comparing Lawrence Vickers to Moose is appropriate because he's the best FB in the NFL and also has leadership qualities.

I think this is going to be one of the key offseason acquisitions.

Both backs showed they are capable of 100-yard games with decent blocking, so it's a nice situation to have.
