I’ll be honest. I expect the offensive line to be even better. Second year of Booker and then getting older and more healthy? Second year of Pickens? Is it finally clicking for Blue? Lamb is healthy and won’t have all those drops.

What makes me laugh is they traded down in that draft and then took guyton. So that tells me they weren’t terrified of said prospect going elsewhere.


I think they should jsut go with Tyler smith early and do the pay raise thing and call it there.

Then obviously a dogfight for rt.

Only trouble is that I don't think Tyler wants to be a LT. I'd probably try to sign Taylor Decker for a one year deal to play LT. I think he's still got a little left in the tank, and I don't think he'd cost much. If he doesn't want to sign, then maybe I'd try to call D.J. Humphries. One of them is bound to sign if we approach them, and they'd make me feel much better about LT. Also, if there is concern for C with Beebe, this might be the time of year to kick the tires on Graham Glasgow to see what's left in the tank for him.

For a team that really has no tangible success, the offseason is the only time that we can be excited…. so I’m happy for you. I’m just stubborn and refusing to buy until I see results.

If the defense can be average they are good enough to win the division for sure. Parker has me very excited and so does Downs. We finally have an elite safety and DT for the first time in a long long long time. I don't know if we can contend for a superbowl with an average defense but we can make a conference championship maybe. I am also excited that we drafted a Steele replacement.

I agree, and I do like our linebacker group. Certainly more than last year. So, if they can be more than average, then we might push further than expected.

Goes both ways. Many promote positivity only because looking at the warts others point out undermines their hope and could actually (shudder) make those people "right" about the situation with license to ridicule the hope. So if you're talking fear of consequences, yeah there's tons of that to go around and some will "attack" when they see the opposite to try to beat back that fear. What's funny is either side only shows up when things are going their way and disappears when it's not. One of the more entertaining things on this board.

Has nothing to do with being right or wrong. Being positive is a way of life just as being negative is. Positivity gets attacked here. You just participated.
